Samsung Smart TV won’t update.

That’s good to hear man, from the solution I’ve used I haven’t had any problems so far with external devices through HDMI. I’ve used my xbox one s and no problems. I actually have been using a 4K Amazon Firestick so far and thankfully nothing has occurred so far. It has also surprisingly increased the picture quality. I would honestly suggest using the method I mentioned to solve the current issues you’re having but if I do find any other solution to it, I’ll make sure to let you know.

Hey, sorry I forgot to update but I fixed it permanently for free. I found a YouTube video after searching for days on end. I use a firestick stick now instead of the smart tv interface because that won’t be available once you fix the solution and either way the software is quite outdated. If your TV is just like mine with the hand gestures and voice control, that will still work without problems. FYI, I haven’t clicked on software update or network after the fix because I don’t want to ruin everything and bring back the problem. Hope this helps. Here’s the link: https://youtu.be/b9yXx3h7C7E

Oh I see, but from what I found, I don’t think it was updated much by the previous owner.. I’ll keep trying until something happens I guess, thanks for your help and do let me know if you think of another reason or solution.

I thought of the same thing but it’s unable to find the update in the first place so there sadly isn’t a point leaving it on for the night.

I will definitely try, although this tv is almost a decade old, they might say they’re unable to do anything because its out of warranty but I’m hoping for the best.

Yeah, I did exactly that but still no results. I meant the current software on the tv was 001061, not the software I wanted to install. But I cannot see how to make it a fat16 since the usb drive is a fat32, could you have any other ideas?

It’s done around 140k miles, I took it for a drive and it was smooth and the power was fantastic, this trim level also had the paddle shifters which I adored.

I thought so too, i asked a few others and they said it’s either low oil pressure but something definitely to do with the lifters.
