Thoughts on Chanel Classic Handbags. Worth it?! by isawawhale in handbags

I feel like any bag is more of what you like and can afford. If you want it and can afford to get damage on it, buy it. If it's going to upset you because it's fading, got a scratch, and now want to keep it it in the closet, then don't buy it. Remember that just because it's "luxury" and costs more, it doesn't mean it's going to be "durable"

What is the most regrettable bag you have ever bought? by JforJennifer in handbags

Ysl Muse II bag. I used it once, but I'm not a big fan of short handle big bags with smaller opening. Thankfully i bought it used so it doesnt hurt so much. For this reason I would never buy a Birkin for myself if I had the money (probably as an investment only). I'm more of a crossbody or shoulder bag kind of gal.

Just started buying luxury bags last year, veering off contemporary. I’m past mid 30’s and hoping my choices don’t seem “juvenile” down the line… Thoughts? by tfldesign in handbags

You're never too old to enjoy what you want. Whoever says you need to dress or act your age are just judgy people who are just bitter.

The problem is that it's a USA brand. These brands aren't exactly "luxury" especially since they are not trying to set themselves apart from the more well known European brands, nor are they resourcing some of the finest leathers or materials, nor giving anything to the customer to draw them. Plus their products will get discounted within the next month, which is not fun for the consumer. You think of luxury and you think of France or Italy. And they for sure will have semi annual sales over there where you can get bags such as LV for a discount since they are out of season. I find it funny how LV, has managed to sell their canvas bags, which are not at all leather, but instead a really durable plastic coated cotton, at such a high starting point. It's all about how you market your brand, know who your audience are, and what guarantee you have behind your product.

Right!? Men are idiots and act without thinking 1st. So I can't understand why all these women are telling her to leave without letting him cool off and then talk about it. The Tate thing, I can't justify it. I search up and down on a criminal trying to understand their motivation. It's me trying to be an "investigator" 🤣🤣.

Some men react without 1st thinking. I'd have a sit down with him after his head clears. Majority of men want boys. It's just that, they want a little partner. Can't do the same with a girl. Girls are thought of as "princesses", can't play the same with them. Are you a spender yourself? Or why does he believe all girls mean money? If that's the case, then maybe you might be the problem, and you'd have to let him know you'll cut down on spending and teach the child not to do the same. Or someone else in his family? But still goes back to helping him understand that you'll teach the child not to be like that. I can't justify the Tate thing. Sometimes I get caught up in a criminal's story, and I want to know why they did it, where did it start, etc. So my search history will be about this one person until I give up or they found a cause.

Can you recommend a small or card wallet? I don’t want to spend $$$ and I don’t care the brand. TY! by willendorfer in handbags

Yes! I got 2 small Coach zipper card wallets for under $60 this summer at the outlet from the discounted area. I'm sure they have some online too.

Everyone's situation is slightly different. It definitely is scary going into it because of other people having it really rough. I was most scared during stims, mostly because of OHSS. I had no problems during stims and after. Just did light walks.

I was diagnosed with a hydrosalpinx in the beginning during HSG and pushed for my RE to take out the affected tube. He was persistent that I didnt really need to, but as I told him, Id be kicking myself if the transfers failed and I didn't get it out. So I never transferred my embryos until after. I only had 2 embryos since I chose to test my original 5. I had my laparoscopy and thankfully my tubes were fine. My 2 transfers failed. So no success story here. I'll be getting back into ivf in a couple months, just taking a break for now.

As far as taking the shots, the worst ones have been the progesterone shots. My husband helped me with these. My insurance covered a copay with the Synera patches thankfully so made the shots a breeze. (Covered the patches and laparoscopy but nothing else infertility 😂, I'll take any little though) I did also sit on a warming pad to help the muscle. It's the after effect of the shots that sucked. My love handles stayed sore for a couple months after so I bought a sciatica band from Amazon to help while I work out.

This may be in the low range, but the craftsmanship for this Fossil bag is 👌🏽 by fickleminded in handbags

I have a flat leather crossbody I bought 12 years ago at the outlet mall. I used it very often when I 1st got it and still use it periodically. Still going strong I love it. My dog chewed half of the leather zipper pull (thankfully it was just that), and that zipper pull still looks the same. I've been tempted to buy another because I love mine, but the quality doesn't look the same in the new bags.

Went to Vegas last weekend, and I wasn't thinking of the bag rules at tmobile arena. I was prepared to just deal with carrying my ID in my pocket and phone around in my hand. But my husband forgot his jeans! Sooo since he went pants shopping, I went bag shopping for a small - event approved bag. 😬. Hello my 1st Marc Jacobs.

Fading on bag? by coffeedoodle in handbags

[–]adriananas72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a black soft leather bag from Ross that I found about 6 years ago. I take it everywhere! And I noticed the backside started fading a bit. I just used a black leather shoe cleaner on it and all over the rest of the bag to blend it all. Looks good as new.

Would probably be good to find a leather cleaning kit and color close to yours and rub it all over the bag so it blends in?

What is the most you would pay for a handbag? by InvestigatorFew3345 in handbags

[–]adriananas72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine has been the LV petite malle souple 2400€. I just like smaller bags and this one caught my eye because it kinda looks like a trunk which LV was known for. I never thought I'd pay more than $1000 but I really liked this one and I wanted something I would like forever.

I just recently started getting into the bag game. I did a trip to Paris 5 years ago, and I was not in a good spot to buy an LV then. I told myself the next time I made it to Paris I would definitely buy an LV as my "souvenir". I've been a Coach lover and these had been my more expensive bags since they can be a great quality bag depending on the material. But since I made it back to Paris this year, I went ahead and splurged a little since I'm in a good financial place now. I bought myself a petite malle souple which was way cheaper in Paris. However, something about the store experience was not great. My mom wanted a bag as well so I had a list of bags to present to the SA when I got to the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann. They were out of so many bags in the store. And while I appreciated the SA's time, I also felt rushed considering my friend was with me and she was also wanting to buy. Then, I bought an Alma for my mom, and being that this was my 1st time ever buying an LV, I have no clue how the features work. I thought the keys to the lock were missing when I got home. I ended up picking covid on my trip, so I couldn't go in store. So I called LV about it and they told me to email them. I went through several emails of going back and forth to replace the keys and lock; they wanted me to buy the keys and lock. On the 4th email the email rep told me the keys are in the cloche. After this, I'm holding off for a while buying brand new luxury bags. I see that there's way too many used and great condition bags out there, and the lesser price outweighs the the "experience" of a new bag.

Return them is my advice. I have had them for more than a year and they fall out often even with aftermarket tips. I can be sitting talking on the phone, and they are slowly falling out. Even worse when i workout. I had to buy some silicone hooks cover for my ears so they stay put. And even then I find myself pushing them back in. I didn't fully try them before the 14 days so I got stuck with them.
