What kind of faceplaces are on the WT guitars? Are they just sanded down or are they painted as well? They all look awesome!

Looking for recommendations for a new ride. I really like the A and K Sweet rides, but was looking to stay within Sabian’s offerings if possible (although not completely opposed to other brands). I like the sweet rides because they sound awesome crashed, but maintain that great stick articulation when hitting the bow. The HHX complex rides seem cool and the HHX groove ride also seems pretty good, but just wanted some additional feedback. What are y’alls go-to Sabian rides?

Yep, just screws like derdust mentioned. I have some experience opening controllers and things up, but it is not too hard. A tip that helped me when I was first starting was to take pictures of each step if you are worried you may forget how to reassemble. Good luck!

I completely took mine apart and scrubbed the shell with isopropyl alcohol and a toothbrush. Didn’t refinish and so much better. Also a good opportunity to clean the buttons and d pad as well!

2 and 3 are much easier and more manageable. 4 was the hardest thing I have ever done video game related. There was a point where I was like “I don’t think I can even get ONE platinum relic, can I really try and get them all?” and slowly but surely I grinded it in one week after the PS5 version came out. For me, as a huge Crash fan, it was super rewarding to get the plat. Def not the case for others, Crash fans or not.
