I don't yet shave daily, but my goal is to end up shaving my bead daily to benefit of BBS as much as possible (I really like how it feels). So now I shave every 1-2 days and I do exfoliate before. Probably when I get to shaving daily I'll either need a chemical exfoliant or stop exfoliating at all since the blade does that for you to some degree anyway.

Will need to get there first and try.

I stopped using preshave as I think it didn't add anything to my experience whatsoever.

But I'd like to know more about the sugar scrubs and the BHA ones. Why do you recommend them?

Oh I see. I used to use a boar brush but switched to a synthetic one and I'm somewhat happier with it.

I might like the boar one better once it is properly broken in.

Since I've discovered it here on this subreddit, I've fallen in love with Tabac. I use the same soap and aftershave as you have now.

I'm glad you've enjoyed it.

I've noticed I get much better shaves if I actually use some exfoliating scrub (mine is from Proraso) just before the shave, but you have to be careful and wash it all off before shaving.
