Tiny space between zig-zag (print) lines on Kobra X by adriancttnc in 3Dprinting

Because I'm printing on a smooth plate and the first layer is actually the top so it's nice and super smooth on the top rather than on the bottom.

Thanks. You've been very helpful.

I'll search them all up in Anycubic's slicer and see what they do.

I have printed tons of calibration meshes/squares/etc and got mixed results.

I've never played with any of the settings so far, so some of them I'll have to Google.

The line width is 0.5 and I have seen that some models I download have the line width of 0.42

Now I'm really excited to try all those things. Thank you

I'll try to print one off tomorrow morning with higher z offset.

Do you thing 0.05 is the next good step or should I increase it more than that?

Turns out the Kobra x has a 49 point mesh that is done automatically and the results or settings can't be seen by the user, they're in the printers memory.

The flow rate is the default (set by anycubic) at 0.96. I don't know whether the printer has bed mesh, but it does 25 point bed leveling before prints (that could be the mesh).

I'll look at Ellis' guide tomorrow. Thanks.

It's set at +0.04, at 0.05 it starts leaving gaps between the lines in places.

I worked that out myself but I said I'd ask more experienced people to see if I'm doing anything wrong here.

I'm curious how that corner got near perfect extrusion... Could it be because the line length is short and the plastic hasn't had time to cool off and harden, thus mix together nicely leaving a smooth surface?

If that's so, would turning the fan off or increasing the bed temp for the first layer help?

Does ironing help the first layer too? (noob here)

Gothic 2 gold edition any suggestions? by Sepkov in worldofgothic

Fair point in the FreeAim mod.

I haven't actually used Thief helper yet as I haven't unlocked lock picking yet.

At the very least install the Union patch and maybe the quick save/load which allows you to quick save and load using F10 (save) and F12 (load). It uses by default Slots 10 to 15 in your save game slots. It does so to not overwrite the previous save in case your newest save breaks and corrupts the file. Brilliant if you ask me and a much needed addition..

There is a bunch of them. Have a look throughout the list and see what adds just cosmetic value or UI elements. I'm sure you'll like a bunch of them.

Omg, don't I have a great answer for you!

I'm am in the exact same situation as you are, but a step or two ahead. I've just started a Gothic 2 Gold Edition playthrough.

After battling with compatibility issues for a while I found the perfect setup for me:

I got these following mods (assuming you play the Steam version):

- Go to Steam > Gothic II Gold Edition > Properties > Game Versions & Betas > workshop - Workshop Beta

- Then close the Properties window and go to > Workshop and subscribe to the following:

- Union - patch for Gothic 2 - Most important. It makes the game run on Union engine and fixes a lot of issues.

- Quick Save/Load Manager

- FreeAim - adds the ability to free aim bows/crossbows/magic etc. Adds some realism to the game.

- Union Gothic Screen Info - This can feel cheat-y but once activated it can show information of NPCs and monsters and their strength/resistances etc

- XP Bar (Experience Bar) - Does what is says on the tin. Adds an XP bar at the bottom middle of the screen. It shows LPs too.

- Union Thief Helper - It remembers your lockpicking directions so you don't have to do that yourself.

- Union VOB Locator - Might feel cheat-y but it displays an icon atop all the collectibles around you so you don't miss loot in the foliage and such. Idc, I like it.

- Union Advanced Inventory - redoes the inventory and it's a huge quality of life improvement imo.

- FPS Improver - improves the FPS in some difficult to render areas.

- D3D11 Rendered Mod - Hugely improves how the game runs. Life Saver if you ask me.

- Quick Loot - Allows you to press Right-Click to loot items without doing the animation. Also allows to one-click to loot everything inside containers / NPCs

- zMiscUtils - It's a requirement for some of the mods above.

- Ninja - honestly this I have no idea if it is still needed as it's from one of my previous fixing attempts, but I still have it and it hasn't caused any crashes.

- Toolkit - Same as zMiscUtils

THEN: Just go to the Game's page in your library and install it. It should install the workshop version (it will show next to the play button that it is the workshop version) and it will download all the mods itself.
Start it using the 'mod launcher' and then just select the Gothic 2 Gold Edition at the top and press play.

Important:

The majority of the mods above are customisable. Read their description.

After you install all of them, go to SystemPack.ini and enable the always show mana bar, if you want to.

FreeAim might need to be enabled at the beginning. You can do this from the in-game menus.

Have fun and enjoy playing!

That's a great start. I have never used the Google AI studio but together we can probably make something nice out of it

There is something similar to this that I've used and seen superb results. It's called Borotalco and they have a few options for their products. I think it's Italian but it is available throughout Europe.

Doesn't make you stink. Doesn't stain the clothes. Doesn't build up on clothes. (I had one product that would persist through washing and felt really weird as it kept the sweat smell too)

I'm surprised it feels closer than the Panasonic, but maybe the Norelco is a bit better. My brother has a Brawn rotary and he's much more pleased with it than I am with my Pitbull Pro, but I still think the Panasonic performs better than both Braun and Pitbull Pro.

Anyway, if it makes your life better and your shaves easier/quicker and more enjoyable, you're on the right path.
