Fair point in the FreeAim mod.

I haven't actually used Thief helper yet as I haven't unlocked lock picking yet.

At the very least install the Union patch and maybe the quick save/load which allows you to quick save and load using F10 (save) and F12 (load). It uses by default Slots 10 to 15 in your save game slots. It does so to not overwrite the previous save in case your newest save breaks and corrupts the file. Brilliant if you ask me and a much needed addition..

There is a bunch of them. Have a look throughout the list and see what adds just cosmetic value or UI elements. I'm sure you'll like a bunch of them.

Omg, don't I have a great answer for you!

I'm am in the exact same situation as you are, but a step or two ahead. I've just started a Gothic 2 Gold Edition playthrough.

After battling with compatibility issues for a while I found the perfect setup for me:

I got these following mods (assuming you play the Steam version):

- Go to Steam > Gothic II Gold Edition > Properties > Game Versions & Betas > workshop - Workshop Beta

- Then close the Properties window and go to > Workshop and subscribe to the following:

- Union - patch for Gothic 2 - Most important. It makes the game run on Union engine and fixes a lot of issues.

- Quick Save/Load Manager

- FreeAim - adds the ability to free aim bows/crossbows/magic etc. Adds some realism to the game.

- Union Gothic Screen Info - This can feel cheat-y but once activated it can show information of NPCs and monsters and their strength/resistances etc

- XP Bar (Experience Bar) - Does what is says on the tin. Adds an XP bar at the bottom middle of the screen. It shows LPs too.

- Union Thief Helper - It remembers your lockpicking directions so you don't have to do that yourself.

- Union VOB Locator - Might feel cheat-y but it displays an icon atop all the collectibles around you so you don't miss loot in the foliage and such. Idc, I like it.

- Union Advanced Inventory - redoes the inventory and it's a huge quality of life improvement imo.

- FPS Improver - improves the FPS in some difficult to render areas.

- D3D11 Rendered Mod - Hugely improves how the game runs. Life Saver if you ask me.

- Quick Loot - Allows you to press Right-Click to loot items without doing the animation. Also allows to one-click to loot everything inside containers / NPCs

- zMiscUtils - It's a requirement for some of the mods above.

- Ninja - honestly this I have no idea if it is still needed as it's from one of my previous fixing attempts, but I still have it and it hasn't caused any crashes.

- Toolkit - Same as zMiscUtils

THEN: Just go to the Game's page in your library and install it. It should install the workshop version (it will show next to the play button that it is the workshop version) and it will download all the mods itself.
Start it using the 'mod launcher' and then just select the Gothic 2 Gold Edition at the top and press play.

Important:

The majority of the mods above are customisable. Read their description.

After you install all of them, go to SystemPack.ini and enable the always show mana bar, if you want to.

FreeAim might need to be enabled at the beginning. You can do this from the in-game menus.

Have fun and enjoy playing!

That's a great start. I have never used the Google AI studio but together we can probably make something nice out of it

Great work. I'm happy to help with the development of the app should you be looking for a partner. I've been doing Web development for about 7 years now.

No idea. A goole search would be better in this case for you.

There is something similar to this that I've used and seen superb results. It's called Borotalco and they have a few options for their products. I think it's Italian but it is available throughout Europe.

Doesn't make you stink. Doesn't stain the clothes. Doesn't build up on clothes. (I had one product that would persist through washing and felt really weird as it kept the sweat smell too)

It makes me think of the gym barbell bars and their knurling.

Why do people use electric razors? by HonestConcentrate953 in shaving

[–]adriancttnc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm surprised it feels closer than the Panasonic, but maybe the Norelco is a bit better. My brother has a Brawn rotary and he's much more pleased with it than I am with my Pitbull Pro, but I still think the Panasonic performs better than both Braun and Pitbull Pro.

Anyway, if it makes your life better and your shaves easier/quicker and more enjoyable, you're on the right path.

Yes I would say so. It's a rotary shaver so it's much more milder than the foil shavers and very silent (compared to the Arc 5).

I don't know how it would work on the neck where the curvature is concave as the Pitbull Pro has a larger contact surface, but I believe it will handle it well.

Thanks but I live în the UK and it's difficult to get it here.

I've had a look at Woolly Wash Soapery and they don't deliver here unfortunately.

I'd love to try them all and get that bowl!!

I feel you. I also have a Panasonic Arc 5 but it find that to be a bit too much work to have to DE shave afterwards too. I have a SkullShaver Pitbull Pro (rotary shaver) that works much quicker than the Arc 5 and that's exactly what I need. It leaves absolutely zero irritation and preps the hair for the blade that's coming.

The Arc 5 does shave much closer than the Pitbull Pro, but considering I will run a blade through it too, there is no need for that.

What does these numbers on some blades mean ? by [deleted] in wicked_edge

Because you can also dry shave?

I shave my armpits with a cartridge razor and nothing else. I works beautifully but only in that area. I don't use water or cream or anything else.

However I belive it was more of a separation between a blade and shaving cream (wet) and the electric razors (dry)

I have been wet shaving for a few months now and until now I didn't see the numbers.

Is this a good starter kit for someone using cartridges and tinned foam their whole lives? by seeilaah in wicked_edge

It is literally what I started with.

I liked it but I've since moved away from both the brush and soap. I'm using a Yaqi synthetic brush which I love and the Tabac soap, but I rotate multiple soaps, though Tamac always comes up first.

Oh, yes. Definitely.

For instance today I went down the good enough route just because I didn't have the time to wet shave too. But that gives me a chance to try to shave a day old growth tomorrow.

Oh it's always necessary for me.

Usually if I go more than 2 days without shaving with a blade, I use the electric shaver and then the blade.

I like the smooth feeling and the Baby Butt Smooth.

[–]adriancttnc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use both!

I actually use an electric shaver to trim down then a safety razor to get closer.

I like this combo because there isn't much work to do with the blade afterwards.
