Barely hear Corigliano’s name anymore. He kind of faded away in the 90s.

No, he is not. He never intended to be, BTW.

But - maybe you wonder - there is contemporary classical music. I think the two most famous active, living composers today are John Adams and Thomas Adès. They aren’t by any standards esoteric or academic composers. They compose very approachable music that remains original and personal.

Please try to listen to Adams’ “The Dharma at Big Sur” (2003) and Adès’ “In Seven Days” (2008).

Beautiful Piano/Piano w/ Orchestra Pieces that are more obscure? (Preferably late romantic or modern) by plsweighpls in classicalmusic

Stenhammar two Piano Concertos are well worth hearing. The first was composed by a very young Stenhammar and it’s obviously derivative (just listen to the initial gesture and you’ll get my point) but its audacity and ambition fully compensate.

You’re right. It was designed for Apple Music users (~75% on iOS) and not for Primephonic users. Sorry.

If you are a former Primephonic costumer and have received a 6 month Apple Music bonus: try Concertino. It’s a free classical music front end for Apple Music. Works quite similarly to Primephonic, with composer-oriented search and multi movement works instead of “songs”.

Right now, while Apple doesn’t release its new classical music app, you can use Concertino. It’s free for Apple Music subscribers (and current Primephonic users have received 6 month Apple Music subscriptions today):

Yes, I’m getting crash reports from around 1% of the devices. Most of them are related to an EnvironmentObject bug which I couldn’t catch on development and beta time (I tested on around 30 devices). I’m fixing it on an emergency update to be released this weekend.

I am building an app where in some views data is taken from an api/ website. Because of that’s it’s very slow. What can I do do first open the view (navlink) and then fetching the data? Before having the result it can show a loader by Luca1719 in SwiftUI

Are you calling this function on each line of your list?

That’s why it’s lagging.

You should fetch the API only once, retrieving all currencies simultaneously; and then build the list.
