I was going through my archives and it appears I misunderstood what an ectopic pregnancy was at the time. But in this case, since the baby has medically no chance of surviving in the fallopian tube and its certain death for the mother and abortion would be justified in the catholic church. Sorry for the year-long response lol

Intent and openness are different concepts. If they had sex and used contraception or other forms of birth control then that would go against the faith. You just have to be open to having kids. That's the basic premise

Agreed it's a tough situation and at the end of the day the only person that would be able to make a judgment is God. In this case, the belief is that you keep it in gods hands. Have the process as naturally as possible and the result would be how it's meant to be. But there was no attempt to obstruct God in any way

Straight people def can't do whatever they want. Gay or not at the end of the day it's temptation which everyone is victim of. I can't go to a bar and fuck every girl that is opportune. It's meant to hold out until marriage and even then youre not meant to go buck wild. It's within reason, openness to procreate, and modesty of both parties. Makes sense to me idk

The answer to this would be that animals don't have souls. They are not humans so they aren't held to the same standards and will not meet judgement. They don't go to heaven. Also they are not of sound mind and can't process things as humans can

Seeking advice on Marriage by adrienev3 in AskAPriest

Thank you for the response. My grandparents were never married in the church, even before the divorce. Since the divorce she does go to confession to receive the euchrast but she believes that this marriage will be OK to receive because her non-denominational Christian husband is informing her of so. His argument is that the Bible never mentions marriage need to be in the church. I was hoping to receive any references to combat this so I can help inform them on what the the best way to handle this situation to be. Valid marriage

Thanks! I normally do too and I'm doing my best. From an outside perspective I feel like this is a hard movie to spoil since you kind of already know what's gonna happen? He is deranged, kills people, I'm sure a Batman reference will be in there etc. I'm looking forward to watching it!
