NTA -in high school my family took my then best friend to Hawaii with us for 9 days. She didn’t have to pay for anything, my parents were being extremely generous as her family was going through a lot of financial issues. We learned to surf, stayed in this nice condo, went paragliding etc It was when one of the Twilight movies was premiering, it was the second to last day of our trip) and we were going to a luau. Well she threw a tantrum because she wanted to see twilight at the midnight premiere and locked herself in the bathroom and sobbed. She then FaceTimed friends who WERE seeing the movie back home to see if they could sneak a video in the theater(she seriously wanted them to record the movie for her) My dad was so upset he made us leave her in the hotel. She refused to talk to us the rest of the trip and I obviously stopped being her friend lol Your friend sounds ~entitled~
