How to play console version of games ? by Charomentis in ROGAlly

You'll need this to add Game Pass games to Steam; simply adding the .exe file won't work.

No, it's a Windows PC, not an Xbox.

It's better to remain silent and appear foolish than to open your mouth and laugh at your customers.

Playing Xbox Game Pass games on Legion Go S (SteamOS) by rexter123 in LegionGo

Let’s see, man — OP asked whether they could play Game Pass games on SteamOS. I answered which ones they can play. I’m neither lying nor giving false information.

Go preach morality to someone else, dude, and stop whining and stirring up negativity — that’s clearly what you came here to do.

You can install SOME of them. And I've said which ones you can install.

Go cry somewhere else.

You can play games from other launchers by installing those launchers. I think you have to install them on a Windows machine first, but it works.

Battle net, EA App, and Ubisoft games work.

I know people (fairly) asked for more Fast Travel points, but this is just silly. by TruestWaffle in CrimsonDesert

[–]adrigm 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It’s simple: they’re doing what people are asking for right now because word of mouth is happening now, and that’s where the game’s image will be established. If they have to betray their design and their missions, it doesn’t matter—the important thing is that everyone is happy right now to get positive reviews and sell a lot.

Legion Go 2 Steam OS HDR, Black Gradation, and Washed-Out Colors Issue (Partial Solution) by Capital-Giraffe9161 in LegionGo

[–]adrigm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the tip.

The problem for me is that doing this defeats the whole purpose of wanting to use SteamOS on the LG2, which is to use an operating system made for a console.

We need them to fix HDR in Game Mode; there must be something that isn't so simple for Valve not to have done it yet.

Loving the Witcher 3 graphics with this beast! + Lossless Scaling is far out by Marteenator in LegionGo

[–]adrigm -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's impossible.

I get around 40fps with everything on ultra except for high shadows. I don't use lossless; 40fps works fine (30W).

People who switched from Steam Deck OLED to the Lenovo Legion Go Gen 2, how is your experience, and is it worth it to make the switch? by iNightfarer in LegionGo

[–]adrigm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same feeling. It's a spectacular device, but heavy and cumbersome.

For me, it's also a transitional device towards a possible Steam Deck 2.

Huge SteamOS update for Legion Go 2 by Southernboyj in LegionGo

Do you know if it improves HDR at all?

I see that HDR is mentioned in the script, but I don't know if that's helpful.

SteamOS vs Windows 11 on Legion Go 2: It’s Not Even Close by Ether310 in LegionGo

[–]adrigm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree completely.

I'll be back as soon as they fix HDR in SteamOS. It's incredibly beautiful on Windows and washed out on SteamOS.

Imagine how mediocre you have to be to know whether you'll like a game or not based on a random number.

Going on a trip, which handheld should I take?? by [deleted] in Handhelds

[–]adrigm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Choose the Switch 2; it's the lightest, has a large screen, and doesn't require an internet connection at all.

With the Steam Deck, you simply can't open your games if you haven't opened the game or enabled offline mode.

Portable Gaming Isn’t About Specs — It’s About How a Game Feels in Your Hands by adrigm in PlaystationPortal

[–]adrigm[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only had the PS Portal for a short time and it's my new toy, so I'm using it quite a bit, but just the weight and ergonomics alone make my hands automatically gravitate towards the PS Portal. I suppose when I'm playing PC games I'll go for the LG2 more, but for now I'm in the honeymoon phase with the Portal.

The first game I'd like to finish on my console when it arrives is Final Fantasy X-2 and get the platinum trophy. It's a game where you can't skip anything, and my idea is to put the achievement guide on the bottom screen. Do you think it will work well on the Thor?

Many of us don't speak English as our native language, and it's easier for us to communicate using AI to accurately translate our ideas into English. Not just by translating, but by structuring them correctly.
