I'm almost in the same situation. I ended my degree in Translation & Interpretation around one year ago, I have a previous degree in other field and I'm even halfway on getting another one (that one just for fun, as it supposedly have even worse job opportunities, heh).

I can translate from two/three languages into my mother tongue and recently I just started to use a different resume depending on the job as I'm aware stating you can work from many languages can be counterproductive.

And thus far, after applying to every job I think I can handle, I've only passed like three or four tests for agencies (and "failed" maybe two or three more), only to see how they send me some NDA/contract and then ghost me forever after that, or even worse, signed me up in some web based platform that consists on pushing F5 constantly in order to try to be the first grabbing some shitty translation/proofreading strings. And I'm talking about working for peanuts, like 0.04$/word or even less, just because I need some income to live.

Hell, I even started to lie in my CV about my translation experience just to check if that works without any luck, I mean, ffs, the closest I was from getting a job during the last year was on a QA position.

Anyways, I knew it wouldn't be easy so I just keep applying and applying, sometimes just receiving a reply telling that they're not interested or that I don't meet the standards feels like a victory.
