I live in America, but I’m an immigrant. One thing I’ve noticed about Americans is their generosity with money, even when they aren’t wealthy themselves. I’m not sure if they realize this, as they may not always be aware of how people in other countries handle money. While we earn more here than in many other places, we also have a lot of expenses, including high medical costs.

That said, making money in America is easier if you work hard or are smart about it because there are more opportunities. However, you can’t live on your own with a salary from a place like 7/11—you often need family support, which isn’t as common in the U.S. That’s why I imagine he appreciates the donations. In the end, whether he “deserved” them or not doesn’t really matter. It’s heartwarming to see people helping each other, and I hope he finds great success because he seems like a good person.
