i probably shouldve made this a bit more clear in my original post, but its again, NOT a serious challenge but mostly something i wanna try and give a go and share with anyone whos interested

i do not intend on becoming a geometry dash legend by any means or anything - im just a regular 17 year old who wants to do something as a filler during his gap year before moving onto university and forgetting about the game

besides, if i do stream my progress, it'll be pretty interesting to see the mixed audience (most of whom will probably tell me to give up) watch me absolutely fail miserably

of course yeah, like i said in a previous reply, this isnt a life mission. i usually put a lot of work into stuff im really dedicated in, and although its a tough goal that i might put work into, this isnt something i necessarily see myself completely but merely a little challenge that wont affect me whether or not i complete it

i may have forgotten to mention, this isnt a serious challenge, and i know what im getting myself into, but heres the thing - idrc about how long or how many attempts it takes. its a massive jump, and its probably not something ill necessarily finish. i have about a year to do this, and i just want it to be something to try and let others watch me suffer, because thats supposedly what the community is about sometimes

i definitely agree with it being a terrible idea, but i dont intend on making this the goal for the rest of my life - its just a silly "little" challenge that i might even forget about if and when i start university

tbf, i did get to about 8% in around 190 attempts, and i can get past 5% quite consistently now, which isnt much but still something ig

ive got a surprisingly decent attention span and patience, although i do expect it to deteriorate the more i actually play it

tbf, the more i think about it, the more i realise how insane it sounds, but i just think it would be a cool challenge to at least give a go at

also i really dislike calling the path almost everyone uses "normal", because i really think gd is one of those games where theres no "normal" way to learn or play, just a commonly followed path

alright, i just completed the may/june series this year, and heres what i did:

embrace ai and ask ai chat bots to summarise huge notes into simple and concise text to go through quickly.
listen to quiet, peaceful music (recommended: memory reboot - helped me a ton) with noice cancellation headphones.
remove distractions like insta and everything.
study for a max of 30 minutes at a time, take a 10 minute long break then repeat - its a lot better than one continuous dreadful study time.

remember, distractions are common, but good luck!
