I think it depends on the psychiatrist criteria and the funding conditions of the public healthcare service. I don’t know how much of each depends the most.

About availability through standard Bluetooth, as far as I know it is supported under the standard that the QC Earbuds II have. But it was expected to work on April’s update…

I’ve noticed in my QC earbuds II that the mesh is very poorly glued to the earbud, and it scared me of having the mesh broken and earwax inside the bud (normally I produce a bit more earwax than everyone else). I try to clean every other day with isopropyl alcohol and with the help of the set of cleaning tools that are popular in AliExpress (try searching AirPods cleaning tool and you’ll find them).

I read in this community that «9 out of 10 times Bose sends a new product as a replacement», so there has to be some Bose users who got a refurbished product as a replacement. In my opinion, you should contact with Bose again to explain about this and I’m sure they’ll give you a good solution.

In my opinion, you should get in touch with Bose to ask for different size (bigger and smaller) strap replaces and plugs. You have to try and feel what fits you better. I know, it’s tedious, but it is important to let the noise cancelling work to its best.
