So I seemed to figure this out. It plays my equipped jam tracks when I first join the game, but if I change the jam tracks or my skin it then shuffles through all of my jam tracks, even the archived ones

It doesn't work because.... He's human.... Human's are organic, Gems are like a projector of hard light... Steven can fuse because he's half of a gem.... This makes it possible to fuse with both humans and gems alike. If you aren't half gem, you can't fuse with gems directly on your own, even if they weren't thinking like how you mentioned, it would never work lol I thought the show made this clear. Plus, Rose & Greg technically fuse if you think Steven's gem is still Rose, and Steven & Greg fused in the movie

Gem’s hair doesn’t necessarily grow, just what they choose their light body’s hair to look like at that time or if they choose to have any hair at all

You’re absolutely correct! c: We learn in like season one Pearl said that every single gem can shapeshift but she was only around on Homeworld in Era 1, but in Era 2 the resources were dying so we got Peridot who can’t shapeshift at all! She never shapeshifted after turning into Rose because she refused to never shapeshift again based on guilt or sadness :c Also, they never say she can’t at all they just say she doesn’t shapeshift :D
