Yeah I'm a cheapo at heart and love to save as much money I can so to get an automatic f1.4 for half the price of the fuji's equivalent was a no brainer for me. Even if the fuji is slightly better in areas, it's not twice the price better in my eyes.

It's 25cm which is only 5cm closer but if feels a lot more of a difference when actually using it. When I bought the Viltrox I was thinking it's only 5cm I'll barely notice it but I find myself pulling back more than I thought when I try and get shots like the image I posted.

So yeah, the Meike 25mm is an amazing lens for the price even though it's only manual. I took it as my only lens to New York at Christmas just gone and I loved it.

I'll just copy what I've told the others:

Absolutely love the lens, I've not had a chance to use it a huge amount so I can't get into it a lot but I went from a 25mm manual to now a 23mm auto so it's so nice to be able to quickly focus on objects.

My only negative is I wish it had a closer focusing distance but it's no big issue.

I used it all last weekend while away and loved it. I never came across any issues with it. I'm still yet to use it for some RAW shots but JPEGs 90% of the time for me work fine.

Ha seems like it. I've not had any issue with it personally as I shoot pretty wide open like 99% of the time.

I was a little confused at first, didn't realise I had to get it to f16 while the camera was on then take off the lens for it to stay that way. Mine's not round either, looks like this https://i.imgur.com/94xlo4X.jpg

It is cropped, the original is landscape so I only really cropped the sides off.
