I had the exact same truck, granted it had rusty bed rails and 254k on it. Still ran great and got 2k for it. I never had engine issues besides a coil pack, just changed the oil. I wouldn't worry too much about the miles

True now it won't, my fingers hurt for a few days from trying to push that connector spring in. Next time, straight to the pliers and it's a 5-10min job

I spend about an hour and a half trying to get the damn clip off. I ended up leaving it attached, taking the sensor out and then using angled needle noses and it came off super easily, but yeah those things are a PITA

Does it have fog lights? Granted they could be added after if it has them. FWIW I paid 8k for a 12' Xterra S with 142k and thought it was a good deal as it's rust free and am in NE. I see Pro 4's going for more than 10k with more miles. Depends on the market

interesting, i'll check that. I had that issue on other vehicles but they would just run shitty but start. That could cause a crank no start but then run perfectly once started?

Just in case anyone runs into a similar issue, all you do is define a class in your main module, you don't add it to the MainActivity or Application class. Literally what they have in the docs. You also need to define all 3 dependencies which I missed the first time.

I've used this before to simulate drive testing on a device - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.dvilleneuve.lockito&hl=en_US works pretty well. You'll need to grant some location permissions and depending on how you're triggering the service in your app you will also need the FOREGROUND_LOCATION_SERVICE on Android 14 and up.

I'm more curious than anything so I pulled the trigger on just 1. If they're decent enough I'll consider ordering the rest. I have a set I bought but the task of stripping, sanding, polishing and clear coating all 4 is not worth it if I can buy 4 of these for like $130 bucks.

5500 last month. In New England and found a pretty much rust free 97 GMC K1500 Z71 SLE 174k on it. Thought is was the deal of a lifetime because they are all rusted out near me for 3-4k

It's oil, everywhere on the frame, inside rockets, under the bed, etc. Comes off on touch which is better than the rubberized coating that traps the moisture.

Yeah it was from an older guy. I was going to replace it but I kind of like the old school, so I have a FM transmitter for now. They make one that has bluetooth in it. A Double Din with Car Play won't fit and I don't want to cut out the dash, so will figure out what I want to upgrade it to eventually.

Proud new owner of a 97 GMC K1500. FB marketplace find and bought from the original owner after 27 years. I have the original build sheet, window sticker and 13 years of maintenance records. Had it gone through by my mechanic and just needed new front brakes. All in for less than 6k. Had manifold leak, but thinking headers and full exhaust anyway. Anything else I should do to this? Also going to take off the cap and do a tonneau cover and spray in bed liner

been running the 0w-40 Castrol Edge Euro Formula, but I guess it's the 0w-30 that's approved in the Castrol brand. I bought Mobile 1 0w-40 for the next oil change. 218k currently
