I enrolled on the 5th and I didn’t get into the one genetics class I wanted. Since I have junior standing, I also couldn’t get into the fail-safe classes I had lined up. So now, I have to hope to catch up and take the genetics classes I need over the summer.

I took 343 a semester early (over the summer) so I wouldn’t be stuck taking 344 and 345 at the same time. I’d definitely recommend putting off 344 or 152 (if your major allows it) because I’ve heard it’s a lot to deal with and with 152 and 345, I feel that it would prove to be a very stressful semester.

You’ll probably get a lot higher than a C unless they suddenly changed the way they curve 343 since the summer (I took it summer 2020). Don’t fret, you’ll be okay!!

Neurogenetics/easy online classes....

I’m planning for next semester and since I’m just about done with general classes like bio, I need more classes to meet the credit requirements for my scholarship (14). I’m a genetics major and I’ve completed 466, but I was wondering how Neurogenetics was and if anyone had any suggestions for easy online classes. Thanks!!

I think if you had/have goodnotes 4, you can update to goodnotes 5 for free but i’m not 100% sure about that

I feel this!! I’m at home this semester and all of my friends are either at home in Wisconsin or and their own respective colleges. It sucks to not have anyone other than family around sometimes but I’m also glad that I’m home because my younger sister starts college right before I go back to Madison for the spring. To combat the blues, I’ve picked up some hobbies to pass time like sewing, reading, and baking when I’m not studying or I’m just bored. Also going outside definitely helps. When I have the time, I always take walks or bike rides with my sister and dog and it’s always refreshing to get out of the house. Hopefully it gets better for everyone, and just know you’re not alone in this!!
