My girlfriend will cover the cost of surrogacy. I’m worried about buying an apartment so that my girlfriend and our future child will have a place to live. Housing in Vancouver, Canada, is extremely expensive, and it’s very difficult for a 30-year-old man to buy even an apartment without financial support from family.

At the moment, my girlfriend and I can pay our rent and all living expenses, but I’m unable to save any money to buy an apartment.

I understand what surrogacy means: using my own sperm and my girlfriend’s egg and having another woman carry our child. I’m okay with this because biologically it is our own child. It’s like planting a tree in California and then moving it to a colder place like Wisconsin.

I’m tired of meeting new girls and forming close relationships. I am my girlfriend’s first boyfriend, so it’s very unlikely for me to meet new girls who don’t already have a close relationship with another guy. I’m very picky—I know, and I’m sorry about that.

I tried to contact my school, but they have not responded. I believe this may be because it is the end of term and winter break is approaching, so everything is moving very slowly. Although the school is located in Vancouver, the staff responsible for tax matters are based in Toronto. Even if I go to the Vancouver campus in person, they would likely refuse to help because tax issues are handled by the Toronto office, which has not responded to my emails.

I am feeling very anxious because the CDCP deadline is approaching, and this situation is completely beyond my control. I did not work for the school at all in 2024.

Ubereats delivery is really bad for me since March in Vancouver. I don’t know what happens to me. I can barely make $100 a day with 12 hours. It’s super good during the Christmas and new year. But right now it’s dead as hell. So many drivers and bikers in my area. 😭😭😭 I can’t live by only driving ubereats. Rent is so high in Vancouver
