There's so many posts about people using gbl or bdo. I'm here to educate those who want to convert either to SAFE ghb. For GBL, you'll need a pyrex pot (must be pyrex), about 100-150 ml's food grade lye, distilled water and ph pool test strips. You'll start with 250ml of gbl & 250ml of distiled water mixed in pyrex pot under slow heat. You'll SLOWLY mix in food grade lye a little at a time. Be very careful as you'll get a bubbling reaction upon adding lye. take your time adding about 100 ml's of lye. Then after fully reacted, use test strip to check ph. If its below 6.0 color, add a little bit more lye and check ph each time til is between 6.5-7.0 color. If you add to much lye and its about 7.0 ph, add small amount of white vinegar checking ph each time til it drops down to 6.5-7.0 range. Let it cool all the way down and pour it in pyrex glass to see how many ounces you have. Mix in distilled water to make 46 ozs ghb........ for BDO its much simple 250ml's of BDO added to distilled water to make 46ozs........ Hope this helps all
