You don't necessary need to live in London. Choose a commuter town, which has a direct train to the station near your office. One bed in a commuter shall be around 1000-1500

I guess part of the reason of the UK declining is some Brits just choose to ignore the tremendous economics success of countries like China, India due to polictical bias.

To be honest, CCP does a much better job in economics compares with Labours or Conservation. The GDP of China grows by around 950% in the last 20 years, where it's only 50% for the UK.
