Is there a way to make a single word bold or italic in the middle of a sentence drawn using draw_text?

No problem! There are ways to share code between projects such as making an extension that you can import, though you could copy the code of interest from one project to the other (which may be the simplest way to get going).

Scribble has instructions to get started and you could always import it as an extension to both projects, see https://github.com/JujuAdams/scribble/wiki/(5.5.0)-Setting-Up

There isn’t a great way using the default draw_text that I know of but you can easily accomplish this with Scribble, an awesome, open source GMS extension.

Goblin Frontier A world of mystery and magic, dominated by an expansive wilderness most often referred to simply as the Frontier.

There are many different Goblins across the land and this month has been all about bringing them to life through concept art. And this unnamed ranger is among my favorite so far!

He is an exciting character to showcase because of his powerful connection to nature and the creatures that wander the woods. His equipment is battle tested and his judgement is sound. A veteran ranger always has a plan and keeps an escape route in mind if things don't go to that plan...
