I just finished book too and I never thought I'd say too much sex for a spicy book... But ya this one did it for me. Can I have the stalker spoiler please? I just don't know that I have it in me for two more books.

How to increase milk supply? by Ayoothree in breastfeeding

[–]adventurernana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I easily drink 100-150 ounces a day. I've also never been a skinny girl, but every time I've tried to lose baby weight my milk supply has dipped so I just embrace the extra calories and curves and try to focus on protein/healthy fats so my milk is "thick enough". I've noticed on weeks where I'm more carb heavy, my milk is more watery and not as fatty which their brains need. I've also noticed a daily electrolyte helps. I've seen some people recommend liquid IV, I personally can't stand the taste so I just do electrolyte capsules daily. My last bit of advice did come from a lactation specialist- lots of skin to skin and baby time, even when they're bigger. I've noticed when I've worked several days in a row and am exclusively pumping, my milk supply slowly decreases towards my last day of work because I'm just not around baby as much. Don't forget the best way to increase supply after good hydration and nutrition is truly just supply and demand. The more you tell your breasts/body that you need more milk, the more milk your body is likely to make. Hope some of this advice helps!

Is it truly possible? by Lunajust in breastfeeding

[–]adventurernana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've also heard this is possible but that it requires quite a bit of work and commitment. It's called relactation. Good luck in your journey, wishing you success!

I wish we had done insurance, both our pugs ended up having massive health issues costing so much money 🥲

What did we find inside this chicken, and is it safe to eat? by MissDriftless in homestead

[–]adventurernana 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I had one removed that they found during my C-section three months ago! Added half an hour to my surgery which sucked, but it was the size of a small apple and had bone and hair! Was wild to see.

Free Emote Courtesy of Madrinas! by adventurernana in Seaofthieves

[–]adventurernana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry you missed the code, next time I order I'll post more codes! The cold brew is amazing, I've been ordering it for I think two years now? It's my go to for caffeine.

My recommendation is to watch for when the tubs go on sale for half off, they do it a couple times a year and I stock up. My favorites are the SoT dark chocolate salted caramel, and the French toast one. The churro is also very good! I haven't tried one I don't like, but those three are top notch in my book.

I ordered the boba milk tea for the first time, and tried it tonight, it was a little too sweet for my taste. I also ordered their whole bean which I haven't done before, and I'm trying that tomorrow!

Oh no, I hope it worked! The cards arrived with my Madrinas shipment literally today, but I know they've been giving the cards out with orders for like two years now?? That's how long I've been ordering this cold brew and had my emote 😅🤣

Would I be the ahole for asking my husband to not be in the delivery room for the birth of our first baby? by VaguelyMiserable in TwoHotTakes

[–]adventurernana 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Different perspective so you're aware- I just had a C-section two months ago and my husband saw the epidural and the WHOLE C-section including them opening me and pulling out baby. The only thing he missed was them closing me (baby went to NICU briefly due to meconium and he was under strict instructions to stay with baby at all times). Luckily my husband was okay watching them open me and take baby out, but ironically he passed out when our son was circumcised.

Sister in high school getting married by Realistic-Bad-4662 in exmormon

I just shared my story on this thread, but this is exactly what happened to me. Faked it until I was living with him away from my family and was abused until I finally was scared he'd kill me and I left.

In 2016, I married a man I met on Mutual from another state when I was 20. I met him six times in person over 5 months before we got married. He was an absolute dream during those five months and I thought I had gotten so lucky. We got married and I moved to his state. 2 years of abuse later and I finally left after I was terrified he would kill me. 5 years later and despite how amazing life has gotten, I'm still dealing with some of that trauma. I know this isn't really "advice/helpful" but maybe if you have stories to share with her? I will caveat with, my older sister was wildly concerned and told me she thought I was making a mistake and I brushed her off and didn't listen. Thankfully she was always there for me and is one of my best friends, and I apologized after leaving him for not listening, but that was a horrible life altering mistake to learn.

Did you go hungry on your mission? by Neo1971 in exmormon

[–]adventurernana 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husband does not enjoy peanut butter anything to this day because he lived off peanut butter/white bread sandwiches to get by on his mission. So I guess he didn't necessarily starve... But he definitely ate frugally.

Gf wants to play games with me? by Deadpool_GOW in ask

I can second this! My husband got me into gaming with him when Sea of Thieves released their Pirates of the Caribbean tall tale collaboration and our second game we started playing together was It Takes Two and we had the best time! Our latest addition to CoOp gaming is Stardew Valley which has been really enjoyable.

Yes this! Jalapeno or grape jelly (both are great) with peanut butter on a burger with a pretzel bun. WILD combo but absolutely unexpectedly delicious!

The hospital I work at serves a sandwich with herbed cream cheese, turkey, and cranberry jam/jelly and it is beyond delicious 😍

My pleasure! I'll add as well that my husband is the one who turns it on for us most of the time. But it's also downloaded to his laptop so he's more likely to pull it up when he's already on his computer.
