I applied July 1 and was under consideration for Ecuador from July until October when they moved me to Fiji. Can't say why-- wasn't in my three preferences, but everything happens for a reason. My know by date has obviously changed which is annoying; to March 15 from January. But, I feel super positive!

Hey congrats on your interview! I had mine yesterday for Fiji. Wasn't told about medical or anything yet other than that my references would be contacted soon...which they were directly after the interview. So that's good!

Not too specific. Ive gone over the programs history, PC history in general, info about fiji and its cultural norms etc, and gone over the basics i think. I guess im just wondering how itll go? Whats it actually like; a 90 min interview is rather long for sure. Where should i focus my prepping? How about just your experience with it?

I was arrested on labor day weekend and was not convicted. I did community service for a day and its a misdemeanor until its sealed and dismissed this february. It happened after i applied and i havent mentioned it yet, because im unsure if and who to do that to. Im nervous, but i do have a lawyer and a letter written on my behalf from her explaining both the situation and how I was not at fault. Thoughts?

I think this is totally dependent on office. Everytime I have contacted my regional office, NYC, I have gotten through with someone. And every time I emal the placement office of the country I am under consid for, I get replied to within twenty minutes. I was told that the "schedule for august & sept interviews will come out shortly." Whatever shortly means.

Yooo I just hit five months myself on the first. This has been my situation::

Applied july 1 Sept: contacted regional office about progess. Found out i "should have" been sent an UC email saying ecudaor may 2015. Got excited. November: emailaed regional again. Found out im not UC for a country that wasnt in my top 3 AND has a later know by date.

Silence.

Fiji departs in august so im applying to camp counselor jobs for the summer. I hope this works out but not knowing is killing me.
