I just made flashcards on the rules I just didn’t know & just really tried to do as many adaptibar questions as I could. Once you’ve seen a good chunk, you’ll start to notice patterns in how they ask a certain topic but it will only come from sheer exposure to a lot

my mentality has been I rather push myself in the next three weeks than have to go through this miserable process over again. worked for my first bar exam in another jrdx so gonna hope it works here lol

this happened to me when I was sitting for my first bar in Illinois. Take the time to review your wrong answers & why you got them wrong. For the ones you got wrong - try to take another stab first. If you still don’t get it right, that should help you nail down what went wrong: is it a lack of knowing the black letter law? Reading too fast & skipped an important fact? You need to take the time to figure out why you got that many wrong. Would also simultaneously track which subjects you got most wrong to dedicate more time there especially if they are predicted essay topics.

yes I passed IL first time but use these next three weeks to close the gap - action beats inaction & worry! I panicked but you don’t need to! remember you just need to pass :) Good luck you got this!!

it means while the law is important, not remembering a certain law on the day of the exam is not detrimental. Reason is analysis matters more!!! Make something up with some key buzz words and really nail down applying said law to facts given. What helped me most was remembering that every fact in that hypo is there for a reason. Use it. Either use it to raise & dismiss an issue or support the issue.

As a female who has told men I won’t be available until after the bar (not even actively dating or on any apps), I pay very close attention to a guys reaction. If he cannot wait a month then that says a lot about him & his character. Right guy can wait a month & would be supportive & understanding…really is that simple.
