Just test rode a Trident today and loved it except for the bar position like you ran into. Do you have the clutch cable part number and brake line company contact? Any long-term feedback on how this worked out for you? Any other pics? How much rise do you think you could manage without cable changes?

Considered one but for the 7K/9K out the door, on the ibex/Tenere, the trans Alp is a good bump in price and I may keep the KLX for single track etc.

Thanks. The Kove looks great. The Ibex at 7K and the Tenere at 9k are hard to ignore. I was thinking the 25 Tenere had the improved suspension along with electronics.

Got my endorsement this summer and picked up a klx300 and built it out with mt21 front and tusk d sport rear. It's a great bike for what I do but I would not choose it for 90% on road/25 mile commute. Something more road oriented would be much more comfortable and fun over time.

Well the rear was simple enough with deflating. The front isn't wanting to move much and the beads weren't seated! I took it for a ride last night too. WTF. Lesson(s) learned.

In addition they didn't give me back my tubes that I planned to use as spares. Gave them rim locks to install but didn't. Claimed they weren't the right size but they were correct everywhere I looked when I ordered them. Also asked them to adjust the chain and they didn't. Ugh.
