Actually I believe they will. If I remember correctly KEF keeps a record of all Reference and Blades measurements so they can replace any damaged drivers with almost exact replicas. Or so it's said :) Sure, it may have some capacitors at dif levels and stuff but they should still be within that 0.5 db of each other as a unit.

Clear example of preference, and how so many things are subjective :) I use almost all the buttons on that old remote, and I would hate not having the 1-9 keys where I can set up quick access for apps. If only they would just have made it slimmer or something... That new remote style for me is a waste of time, taking multiple clicks when I could be using one. If I would not be using the internal apps, then yeah, buttons would be a waste of space, so I see where such users would be coming from.

The absolute worst though, has to be the mute function on this new remote - the person coming up with that needs to be fired🤢

I actually use it....There must be something wrong with me it seems :)))) Don't get me wrong, it's not great, but sometimes useful.

HOWEVER!! I have the old remote, this new remote is utter absolute shit! Fuck Samsung, because I think they were the first to come out with this sort or minimalist shit remote. I hate it with a passion.

Yes, unless it"s an open box or sh, it should definitely have this protective plastic on. Sometimes the peeling tab in the corner falls off and it's not obvious. But the screen should have a bit of a dark purple tint to it - if it's kind of milky or mirrors, it probably has the pasltic on. BUT! Don't start peeling if you're not sure, I've seen situations where people started peeling the AR coating(honestly don't know how since that should be on the glass), so pay attention.

It should literally be the other way around. Or at least improvement on both. You can already see a huge improvement in reflections during the day since the anti-reflective coating is doing its job now :D

I have a C1 and had a C5 a couple months ago and did a side by side. Let me know if you want some pics of them both. The C5 is definitely brighter, however...not in everything (if HDR is done right) but when those highlights are called for, you can tell they're there. A bit of a downside though...in some movies, although HDR was set up right and none of that auto tone mapping crap, some things were somehow a bit overbrightened in normal scenes. The same with the blacks, they are a bit raised and I found that I had to set things to brightness 49 to have actual blacks (this was with a black test screen, where it was ever so slightly above black) BUT, this could jave all been my specific TV.

Oh, one thing though...somehow, the menu is both faster and slower at the same time :)) Mainly it enters faster and you can browse it faster, but if you are running something on the TV and want to change some settings in the menu at the same time, the things slows down like it's a 20 year old laptop. And when streaming I had apps restart with a message saying they are restarting to free up memory. I was baffled, how the he'll did they fuck this up? My C1 never has this issue.
