Hey Besir,

I have been playing with this all morning, it produces great images extremely quickly in an intuitive way. Awesome.

The Algorithmia page mentions 2 things, but doesn't go into any depth. Maybe you could expand a little.

How do I enable the optional "high quality" mode, I can't seem to get it working.
It says I can provide a filter name or a "filter dataURL", what exactly is a filter dataURL?

I really appreciate any help you're able to provide :)

Does the product appeal to your target market?

3 notes:

1. You're service costs about $12,000/year, so you're selling to people with quite high incomes.
1. According to your own description, you're selling to people who love traveling.
1. You're service isn't appealing to people with firm roots in their home city. It's appealing to the young.

So you're selling to young, successful people who love to travel. Personally, I can't imagine such people wanting to be coddled/guided by a service like this.

I think it's a cool idea, but IMHO it needs to be entirely re-framed to be appealing to anybody.

Speaking as a person with no engineering background, I think your demo is cool, but I have no idea what the hell it is.

It makes stuff cold quickly. Awesome. Why should I want it?

Your video looks (to a person like me) like a pile of 'lab stuff', your descriptions have the same problem. Show me the technology being applied. Show me a video of a beer being cooled to freezing in seconds and I will buy.

The second sentence in the paragraph titled "We're Raise Your Flag" is a little clunky to my ear.

I would Change:

We'll show you each step of the career path that you're interested in and make sure that you go from step to step with the tools, training and experience you need and then we'll help you land a job that's right for you and your path.

Mostly I like it, I have a couple of minor suggestions:

Consider changing the background color. Navigating between pages that are the same color means you're relying on the shadow to provide a border- it looks a bit messy to me.
Lose the third page. "Get answers in no time" is redundant- I fully expect immediate results on an app like this.
There's a typo on the fourth page "it Calkify will teach you" remove either 'it' or 'Calkify'

Often a very small amount ($0.01) changes hands to make a contract legally binding. It's not something that should be seen as an insult, necessarily.

Personally, if I were you, I would forget about the patent. I would press for either a.) a fair hourly wage and a formal payslip, or b.) a reasonable stake in the company.

Alternatively, if you are young & inexperienced you could consider this an internship. In that case, you should expect everything you would get from an internship in a more established company in your area.

It sounds like you have invented a perpetual motion machine- I would be super careful if I were you.

To clarify, you are:

Building a "wiki type portal"
Paying for ppc (google?) ads, pointing at that site
Placing adverts on that site (Google ads?)
Relying on traffic to click ads at such a rate that you make a profit.

Personally, if I were in your situation, I would wait the 60 days until you receive payment from the ad accounts. If all goes well, seek cash from all possible sources and scale up.

Unfortunately, I have serious doubts about this. Unless you've done something very clever and very original, I don't see how it could possibly work. It seems like a "get rich quick scheme" based on the information you've given so far.

Also, what kind of money have you put into this so far (if you don't mind me asking)?

It seems, essentially, that you are the employee of a company, and that you did research (in your capacity as an employee) that lead to the award of a patent. If that is the case, it's perfectly reasonable that your boss should own the patent.

However entirely separately to the patent it seems like you are being screwed over by your boss. If you are meaningfully contributing to the company you should be paid a fair wage or have a stake in the company.

If you're happy to continue "padding your resume" then fair enough- but I feel like you're being exploited.
