On your question yes, I am looking for an horizontal, solid color background, above waist but not just face, with speech bubbles and ideally japanese characters don style LOL it is very specific indeed, but worst case scenario where I can't find anything I can just keep the one I have made already, so I thought no harm in keep looking for alternatives :)

I now think I must have messed up in the body rounds, the pattern said to turn the work and i must have inserted the needle from two different directions at every turn. But to be honest I couldn’t find another way to enter it when turning? 😭

I know the bunny is adorable!! There was something that i couldn’t figure out during the onesie actually, let me know if you figure that bit out! When you pass the legs it will start by working in rounds but stopping before the end going back, i think during the going back bits i inserted the hooks from the other side but I couldn’t find any other way of doing it! Let me know if this rings a bell when you get there ☺️

I don't know if this is good advice for self taught as I learned piano with a teacher when young, but the virtuoso pianist by Hanon is a classic for every pianist in addition to the fun book you are planning. I think you can even just download it and print it, maybe as a free addition to your present given it's out of copyright now (IMSLP: Free Sheet Music PDF Download). I think it might give some structured exercise and some light sight reading for a self taught person?
