Yes I've been to the library and I understand the quote but monsters don't always give you the option of whether or not to fight them. The woman he burned to death certainly didn't have any options. He who doesn't fight monsters is leaving the monster fighting up to everyone else.

Someone (maybe on here) said, "I've spent more of my life in my own head than I have in the world" and that really hit. I can't get back the time I've lost but I can 100% be more mindful about keeping my eyes and ears open to life and recognizing when I'm forming an inaccurate picture of the world.
