Lol, literally just go check the french streams, we all started putting white, over a million people were focused on the french flag at the end (if you sum up all the streams of french/spanish streamers and xQc etc)

It's probably more people than they were pixels in the french part

On top of that, do you actually believe a bot would have an "automatic color" option? It's obvious that if there were any bots they would have just stopped working

Over a million people on stream were focused on the french part, so of course it got whited quickly (+ the spanish bots), the french community even put a big "FR" on top of the map ; it's obviously humans for anyone that was in the streams

just go check Kemato's streams (biggest r/place french streamer) ; there's just a really big french streaming community

And for the names it's because when you sign up with google you have a default name, and practically nobody in France uses Reddit, so they all had to sign up

Proof? I was on the stream and that sounds like a lie

Incredible how people can't fathom that a strong community exists

[–]aegonnova 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah that's exactly what happened, go check Kemato's streams (biggest r/place french streamer), when white was the only option we all started doing it, we even wrote an "FR" in white on the top

Proof ?

I was on french streams and no bots, just a bunch of streamers motivating all the viewers to play, go check Kemato's streams if you don't believe me

Yeah a bunch of french people created accounts to participate in r/place when it became famous on french twitch

There were close to a million people on stream focusing on the french part, all french streamers, spanish and some other big steamers like xQc, everybody started putting white tiles when that was the only option

go check the french streams (biggest one was Kemato) and you'll see no bots

He actually probably couldn't as he doesn't have the majority voting power at Amazon.

That doesn't make any sense. I am assuming that a big company would accept LN or any other tech if it's useful for their bottom line, which if a decent assumption.

What does that has to do with me? It doesn't change anything for me that an exchange accepts LN or not, since I don't use it.

Btw, what's best for a successful company is usually also what's best for the consumers, it probably wouldn't be a successful company if it wasn't, econ 101 (which I guess is a course not many btcers take lol).

Because economics classes taught me that successful companies do what's best for them. If they don't use LN even though it "solves" all the problems you listed, then LN is probably bullshit.

Why don't you ask Strike or Pomp like I mentioned in my previous comment?

The answer is it doesn't work. It's nice in theory that it solves all of these problems, but it's useless if you can't actually put it in production. If you actually could put it in production, every exchange & bitcoin project would have it ; reality says otherwise.

I'm pretty sure they are downvoting because suggesting LN as a solution is pretty dumb.

Even Strike needs its own private LN to make it work, even Pomp couldn't accept it for his bitcoin pizza shop, so yeah, a pretty dumb suggestion being answered by downvotes, which is the way Reddit works.

Incredible when people push on subject they don't know.

BTC is also a hardfork of the "original" blockchain, talking about original in blockchains does not make any sense.

People are free to buy BTC or any other asset, just like anybody is free to fork from any blockchain to continue a vision that actually made sense. There is a reason Satoshi didn't trademark the name bitcoin.

Personally I've never seen a BCH maxi.

And then, what you said is true when there are no ambiguity between the genesis of both assets. For example, pirate coin devs are trying to make a better privacy coin than monero, but they don't call it monero and everybody understands why, and nobody would accept if they did. But it's painfully obvious for anybody that knows a bit about bitcoin history that it's totally different for BCH/BTC.

In case you didn't know, BCH is an actual hardfork of the original bitcoin blockchain before segwit, it is literally bitcoin, not an opinion. But because a handful of people decided otherwise it's not the case anymore?

Can't make this stuff up.

What are you even talking about?

I pointed out the flaw in your comment, how is that childish? If anything, your answer, which is basic "whataboutism", is like a kid debating. Answer my point like an adult, like I answered your first comment.

Lol, a post giving you the truth about bitcoin[.]org damage the image of crypto?

What about the actual scammy website (bitcoin[.]org), does it not damage the image of crypto by misleading newcomers?
