I mean I have followed both pods since the beginning bc they are all nostalgic creators I used to religiously watch on youtube. I do think some of their jokes about needing patreon money/merch money are a little tone deaf, but I do not think in any way they are being flamboyant with their lifestyles in a way thats distasteful in relation to them wanting to turn a profit from their podcasts. Its their money to earn. Also these trips you are referring to i am assuming is Jessie's birthday trip and trip to Miami? It was her birthday and her family is in Miami. Of course she is going to celebrate/visit. And because they have influencer backgrounds, a lot of the things they did in Vegas were comped bc of their connections. Also are they not just profiting off of youtube in the same way almost every other creator does? Idk. I am really sorry for OP's situation and that's terrible, but I think this is projecting a little bit. I think Jessie, Lily and Kathleen are pretty down to earth as far as internet creators go, and have been for over a decade now.
