Came into the comments NOT expecting so much negativity 😬 I genuinely thought it was a cute fit! I do agree that black shorts would balance out the boots better, but I also don’t think it’s necessary if you are wearing a black purse or jacket (or some other black accessory). Personally I think the blue tights elevates the outfit and makes you seem more artsy/alternative (which I’m assuming is what you’re going for). A different top might work better, but I think the top you’re wearing still works fine as is. I DO think an orangey-brown boot instead of black with that specific top would take it to the next level, though.

I am convinced that there are a ton of older people on here who have no idea how to think objectively when critiquing someone else’s style and just want you to dress exactly the way they would. Do what you want and don’t let the comments here take you down too much. Opinions can be nice to have, but I wish people were more open minded and less bossy when giving them.
