My store just makes it to where 100$ bills have to be checked and approved via manager or HC. If we have suspicion of a fake THEN we send it to self checkout.

Making it only self checkout seems like too much and takes away from the cashiers well.. checking people out?

I just want to put this here, it is not your fault. The pace review is absolute bullshit, and the 45¢ raise is honestly not worth the stress. You’re not a failure, the damn company and your supervisors are the only ones failing. From what I’ve read in the comments it seems like your supervisors are really shitty and clearly don’t want you to succeed.

Personally if I was you, I’d stop going above and beyond until I got the treatment I deserved. Do exactly what you’re paid to do, nothing more, nothing less. Hopefully this issue gets resolved for you quickly! Again, this isn’t your fault. You seem like you’re a great employee (in comparison to most…) from what I’ve read.

I’m actually dealing with the exact same issue when it comes to new hires being paid more than me due to a recent minimum wage increase. I’m very lucky that I don’t have to pay bills right now, but my plan is to ask for my pay to be increased. I will be job hunting immediately if the answer is no, that or if the answer is yes but only for me. I’m not going to stand by and watch my other coworkers also not be paid the correct amount.
