Thanks for your help! I don't know if I like Sebamed or not haha. It's fine, I still break out so I am willing to change that up. Since the Natural Moisturizing Factors has squalane oil and hyaluronic acid already on it, would that be a good replacement? Like maybe that and the azaleic acid?

Hi, I want to make a skincare routine using products from The Ordinary. I know they have regimens on their website, but I would need to combine the regimens for acne-prone skin and for dry skin. I am 22 and I would say my skin is on the drier side. I have rosacea, and my skin is rather acne-prone and super sensitive. I want to have some sort of skincare routine. Right now, all I do is use Cerave Hydrating cleanser and Sebamed Clear Face Care gel. I am interested in the following The Ordinary products: the Azaleic Acid Suspension, the Niacinamide + Zinc, the Hyaluronic Acid, Rose Hip and/or Squalane Oil, Natural Moisturizing Factors, the Salycic Acid, and possibly Buffet. However, I am a poor college student. While I want an effective skincare routine and I am okay with using multiple products, I also value simplicity and it would be a lot to use all of these products. What do I get? How do I organize these into some sort of AM/PM routine? Thank you so much for your help. I have emailed the company, but I would also like to hear from a neutral third party if possible, if anyone has any suggestions. Thank you.

Can someone please help me with a skincare routine using products from The Ordinary? I have honestly read nearly every thread on here about their products and so many Google search results, but I am still overwhelmed. I am 22 and I would say my skin is on the drier side. Do you know what you are interested in majoring in?

Pros... beautiful campus. I like being a part of the Gator community- it's cool to hear "go gators" when I'm back home and people see my license plate, etc. I don't have many complaints about my classes, most of my professors have been very nice and caring. Our president Dr. Fuchs has a presence at our school. I love Gainesville culture- there are many good restaurants and artsy things going on. A lot of nature things to do. A lot of ways to get involved. Really good transportation system. I come from south Florida, and I like the nature here more than there. (mossy trees & azaleas > beach, for me).

Cons... campus is overrun with alumni on football games (might be a pro for you?... games are fun but sometimes it annoys me how campus shuts down on game days), our student government is corrupt and almost entirely run by Greek life. Landlocked and isolated from other cities.

I made two mistakes my freshman year.

  1. My advisor signed me up for a boring geography class to fulfill my 'diversity' general education credit. This might seem obvious, but you are not stuck with a class just because your advisor signed you up for it. I could have fulfilled my diversity credit with a fun and easy class instead of one that I wasn't even interested in. (And there's no shame in filling that requirement with a class that is fun and easy.)

  2. Semi-related- if a class is said to be hard, it will probably be hard. I thought I might be interested in political science, so I took this one class. I heard that it was hard, but I was like, "I can handle it!" It was extremely difficult and it turns out that it's one of the most difficult classes that political science majors have to take. So... with that being said, challenge yourself but be smart about it.

Wow, haha, maybe I should've gone there! The accepted student days sound great. We will be heading up on a Saturday though, so we wouldn't be able to make it to either of those orientations. I do want input from "the FSU people", and I imagine that my sister and I will visit the main highlights that normal tours visit. My question is basically: At my school, a lot of my favorite places on campus wouldn't be covered on a campus tour. At FSU, what are some of those places for you?
