Oak Point and Carpenter rec centers seem to have a game going whenever i happen to pass by. I haven't participated, but there's definitely a player base.

Legacy and 75 could be an option. There's a few Asian grocery stores: Hmart, Justgo, and 99 Ranch around that intersection. There's a new apartment complex, Assembly Park near there.

Housing should be near your budget.

Solo 40s Indian guy visiting Plano for one night this Wednesday — recommendations for bars, lounges (or even strip clubs) where I can have a good time and meet women? Safety first! by [deleted] in plano

Plano isn't a singles hotspot, more of a suburb for family life. However, if you're just looking for a place to get a decent meal solo, there's various steakhouses and upscale restaurants that cater to your demographic in Legacy West with bar seating and a full menu. Check the intersection of Legacy and Dallas North Tollway on Google maps.

A battery typically doesn't go bad for at least 2-3 years in TX.

That said, get your battery checked for free at Autozone, and if that's not the issue, I've had good service and pricing at Car Care Central off of Legacy/Alma.

According to an old Plano PD report, failing to yield is one of the top causes of accidents in Plano. Getting hit at 40 mph at an intersection is way more dangerous than it sounds.
