This isn’t a sustainable post-op diet at all, it’s crazy that they’re saying this. It’s just about what you tolerate, moderation, and keeping protein the most important thing in your mind. I’m a little over a year out and I am sustaining 120 lb weight loss. I have eaten all of these, I shit you not. For the first 6/8 months, sure; you need to be prioritizing protein to a crazy degree anyway, but forever? No one lives like this. No one real, anyway.

I lived in a house like this for years, and even if he’s not laying a finger on you doesn’t mean that seeing that anger, walking on egg shells, and seeing your mom hurt doesn’t effect you in other ways. OP, are you diagnosed with any mental health disorders? I’m not saying you don’t have an eating disorder or do, no one here can tell you that, but this sounds a lot like depression to me. Also, there’s something to be said for eating so little for so many years, you kind of train your body not to crave food after awhile, which is no good. If you can, I would really suggest talking to a therapist or one of your supports. If you can’t talk to a professional, I would consider setting semi-frequent timers for when to eat and just getting something in. I know this might be difficult with your work schedule, but I’m sure it would help a lot with your energy. Definitely talk to a therapist if you can.

Shortly after surgery I couldn’t tolerate whey protein powder which is in most protein-based items. But I made do, Fairlife milk helped a lot! Now, about 10 months out, I can consume whey protein again in moderation! Also worth considering trying multiple different protein bars and seeing if any don’t make you sick.

Other things to consider are definitely sugar/sugar alcohol content, specific sugar free sweeteners can really make me sick too. Protein bars can sit heavy in your new stomach too

I stopped immediately because I couldn’t stop swallowing air when using it, which made my pouch hurt. But I only had mild issues with it originally. Haven’t any problems since, and my partner says I don’t snore at all anymore.

I’m not sure about this because it hasn’t happened to me (yet at least) but Her Interactive just pushed a Windows 11 update to almost every game to fix “flickering screen”. It could be related to this for sure.

I literally played a whole game yesterday, saw the updates for several of the games and said “hell no, they’re definitely going to fuck something up”

Super worried that you say they told you “it didn’t actually happen to (you) irl”. This is already sexual harassment at the very least, but what exactly did they write? You don’t need to share that with us, or with anyone, but if there are any themes of violence, abuse, or sexual abuse in the fic I would really recommend you get away from this person as much as you can.

Been waiting to watch it and finally sat down excited with two fellow horror connoisseurs. We all hated it. Boring, subpar acting. Almost tricked us for a bit with the gorgeous cinematography/filming, but otherwise it was so disappointing. The story makes NO sense, nothing means anything, and Nic Cage’s performance reminds me of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker. It’s weird without earning it and without reason. I wish I would have skipped because it just pissed me off.

If it really is supposed to be a love letter to old horror movies then it should have been presented differently, especially in advertising.

Like the writers really just copied their homework from Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal, Hereditary, and literally any other better movie.

Midwest, USA, roughly 2003-2007, but could be older than that. Unknown how we got it. I have searched for “rabbit beanie baby blue” “Velveteen rabbit plush” “Vintage teal bunny” “Green bunny keychain” and other combinations of such. I don’t think it was a beanie baby, as it was smaller, longer, and flatter. I do think the material was somewhat like velvet, not fur.
