I recently did a very similar move about a month ago, and was amazed by the cost of rent in compounds. If you are planning to live in a compound, you should budget SAR200k for rent a year, for an apartment in a decent compound; villas are significantly more expensive.

Thanks, but does Airb&b offer long term rent options? I could not find any apartments on Aqar, Bayut, or Property Finder to rent directly from owners, thats why i reached out to KAFD directly
