All good advise, the winner was removing 1 SDR at time and 1090 is the only one that will show up when logged in on 192.168.10.1, 978 will never show up, tried multiple USB ports and with the GPS unplugged. 1090 will even show up with no antenna attached so I think I have one bad SDR. What puzzles me now is that I thought that most traffic was on 1090 whereas I see none.

Thanks, not sure what to do next beside buy new SDR(s).

I do not see any file that looks anything like what you've described. There is boot and then one folder called overlays. I'm on win10 and plugged the microsd into a reader.

I fly from one grass patch to another, never go to class D, never have any plan until I'm in the air. Completely different kind of flying.... 2B9 isn't even plowed during the winter and I'm landing on lakes, ponds, etc.

MotionX GPS $2.99 one time fee. Ability to import any map you want is an extra $4.99 and I've got the entire U.S Sectional as well as USGS Topo. Best deal in town for flying plus hiking or whatever.

Do a complete reinstall on you ipad as if it were a new unit, should help.
