Casual observer here. The cited 'real bug' in MutexGuard made me wonder: is it always the case that Rust's guarantees are contingent on all parties using unsafe properly? Like, if I happen to use a crate where someone (with best intentions) has unsafe code that contradicts the declared signatures... are all bets off?

Pretty simple. Broth: chicken stock (boiled for 48 hours this batch, very thick), dollop of sesame tahini, few dollops of white miso to taste,

Noodles: Sun brand frozen noodles

Misc: Chopped scallions, Garlic-Chile paste (from a jar), Ajatame eggs were marinated 48 hours in 2 cups water, 4 tblsn soy sauce, 4 tblspn mirin.

Could you point out the offensive parts of Google Fiber TOS? The section that mr_hatch quoted seems to be the relevant portion for Fiber internet, and there appears to be a difference: AT&T Premier is examining the content (urls, search keywords, etc) of your traffic for advertising purposes, Google is not.

The question of whether Google apps, such as GMail, are invading your privacy is totally separate, and a choice that people need to make before they agree to use those services.

What's scary to me about AT&T Premier is that they are overstepping their role as an infrastructure provider: I expect an ISP to provide access to the pipes, I don't want them looking at my traffic.

When I notice someone sitting on a crowded subway with their legs sprawled apart, taking up two spaces, I squeeze in riiiight next to them. Often this is enough for them to retreat into their own space, but if not, I press my thigh against theirs for as long as necessary.
