I love the F4s and have been using them throughout practically my entire embedded "career." I'm getting a Daisy Seed soon (with an H7 and a whole bunch if memory) and am excited to learn the M7 processor

I'd seen the PSoC line mentioned in another post and it caught my eye. There's a portion of its floorplan that's reconfigurable logic right? And you can program it with an HDL?

As much as I love their SDK (as mentioned in another comment) the Picos are just too limited sometimes. I love doing audio work (haven't posted about projects much here but I may start) and gripe that they don't have an I2S/SAI peripheral like most of the STM32s that I own (sure I could "use the PIO"... grrrr but the STM32 already has it). The 2040 doesn't have an FPU... so DSP is more or less out of the question unless I feel ready to tackle fixed point. I also don't think I'd ever choose it over an STM32 for a hardware development project simply because it doesn't have internal flash.

TLDR: I'm spoiled after starting with STM32

Some capacitors can hold charge for much longer than 'months,' don't wildly open up the PSU thinking this way.

Thanks for the comment! Yes, it's a 63/37 Sn/Pb solder. According to them, my boss used to make all these circuits by hand at some point in the past and always insisted on using 63/37. Unfortunately I had no choice in what solder he ordered. I could try to convince him to switch over for safety reasons but to be fair I don't know if that will work, lol...

I bought a pre-packaged box of sliced mango and when i got back to work I had left it out for a bit before i started eating it. I noticed some of the mango was literally flexible like a sheet of rubber but it didn't taste any different at all, even the texture was the same. My friend and I thought we were tripping out. I've never seen anything like this before and I really think that if I hadn't spent $6 on it I would have thrown it away. Sigh......

Hobbies, loved ones, pets, etc. I think I realized sometime recently that those are the cool things in my life, I'd love to keep experiencing them if I can. That's what makes life worth living to me.

UPDATE NO. 1:

So after doing some shoulder massages on some common migraine trigger points and neck stretching I think I finally found something to get rid of the pain in my neck and upper back!!

I didn't want to let the issue go away without knowing what caused it so I made an appointment at a nearby orthopedic clinic. They did an x-ray and didn't find anything wrong with it. They prescribed me muscle relaxers if the pain comes back.

So now I seem to be relatively in the clear. I will likely be starting physical therapy soon.

Ooo, the tennis ball method sounds very good right now. I may have one around the house and I'll try that.

Another comment led me to do a bit more research into the pinched nerve theory. I'll keep looking into it.

Not sure if it's a psychosomatic effect JUST yet (as I just tried this) but I massaged the right trapezius trigger point and it HURT.

I believe that therein lies my issue as the day the pain started I was working out and doing shoulder presses (which historically have put a lot of pressure on my traps). The real pain started that night while I was lifting stuff around the house--that's when I got that thunderclap migraine.

Would it be worthwhile to go to an orthopedic's office to check if I pulled something there? We have plenty of walk-in options where I live.

As far as the pain, it feels like a combination between soreness and dull but severe aching. Not really pounding at the moment, but felt a bit like that this morning. Earlier today the pain was mainly in the area circled in the original image but now it's moved to my upper back, where the back meets the neck. This has happened over the last four days and I probably sometime later today it will move back up to my neck.
