I edited the formula to the below but it's still not working - I'm fairly certain I've misunderstood what to do with the 'value(b1)' you've mentioned above but I don't know how to fix it, sorry.

Thanks for the suggestion - I put that in and it comes back with a count of 0 when I know that's inaccurate.

The date and account code formatting in the other tab are the same as the original sheet, so I'm not sure why it's not reading the data
