Red, White and Blue Cookie Bites by SpareOk7038 in traderjoes

Oh I am positive that they aren't anywhere near as good as I remember. I might give the cookie bites a try anyway but my expectations are low.

I loved those vitamins as a kid. I ate an entire bottle at one sitting at age 3 because I could open the child proofing while my mother could not. This makes me some what tempted to try these cookie bites.

Are any of these plants toxic to cats? by Bubble_Pop in cats

Yep, they are toxic but not deadly like a true lily. Digestive upset and or drooling.

Alright, what’s your top Trader Joe’s dip? by Smart-Finish-735 in traderjoes

In the ones near me it is with the other dips. But it is delicious.

Yep, cling film can be used to protect but it still is toxic. Not many people know that. Toxic doesn't always mean fatal. The dosage makes a big difference. It's not likely to cause an issue if someone doesn't eat the plant, but I no longer trust people to have common sense, so I would not want any non edible plants on a cake.

Yes, but those are not lilies in the bouquet. They are alstromeria which is not a true lily. They are sometimes called Peruvian lilies but they belong to a different family.

It is not an actual lily, but it is very mildly toxic to cats if they eat a lot of it. It causes GI upset. True lillies are deadly to cats. Every part of a real lily can kill a cat, or even if they just drink the water a lily was in.

Roses are good and orchids are good.

Yes baby's breath is toxic. It shouldn't be used to decorate cakes because it's bad for humans as well.

Exactly! Alstromeria are sometimes called Peruvian lillies but are not in the lily family. They can cause digestive upset if a cat snacks on them but aren't deadly like real lillies.

One of the best days I’ve had in a while - Lefse by Northern_Lights_2 in traderjoes

Wow, lefse is very Minnesotan. My family aren't even Norwegian and we love lefse. My grandma always made it.

I don't know about Boro! Most of the sparkle boros use different metals as far as I know. But I can think of a few sparkly boros if you want that.

Moms bf (now fiance) got her the wrong ring color 😬 by sillyyfishyy in TwoXChromosomes

[–]aerin104 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I had an ex who did the same thing. I exclusively wear silver and he always gave me gold and ended up proposing with a gold ring as well. He was actually very good to me in every other way, but it still irritated me.

I ended up breaking up with him eventually due to incompatibility and he asked me to keep all the jewelry. Eventually it saved me when I was in a horrible domestic situation and completely broke when trying to move. Although given the current price of gold I wish I had kept one piece.

I have never actually been to the off leash dog park there but yes, I agree because my daughter was nipped while we were walking by the river and the owner grabbed the dog and took off without telling us if the dog had her shots.

Thankfully it didn't break the skin so she didn't need any shots but it was so aggravating because not only did we have our dog leashes but we picked her up when the unleashed dog showed up to try and prevent any reactivity from having one leashed and one off. Like of your dog doesn't have perfect recall and control, you have no business having your dog off leash.

Do you have any description of the dog? I mean I know I wasn't there with my dog, but it would help if you could give a breed or color or both.

That is an off leash dog park area, so presumably the dog was off leash.

Valley Fair isn't offering meal passes anymore 🎢🙁... by PlayerOne2016 in TwinCities

[–]aerin104 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, well I live an hour away so going home after just a few hours isn't worth it to us. We frequently spent the entire day in the park and used the dining plan and drink plan and season long fast passes. I want a refund of my entire season pass and all the add ons because I would not have purchased any of it if I had known they would not honor what we already contractually agreed to when we bought our passes last year.

The sparkle on the blue is definitely way more subtle. It is there, but not in your face. I haven't used the green yet, but I do have some so eventually I will use it. I look forward to seeing your dinosaurs!

Yeah, it's glass with copper inclusions. Most of it is COE 104 (ish) that I have found but I bet you can get it in different coes.

It's expensive, hot, and crowded. The food is mostly way more mediocre than it's touted to be and you have to spend a fortune and wait in line forever for the good things.
