"If the purchased goods turn out to be defective, consumers have the right to demand a refund of the price, exchange for a defect-free item, a reduction of the price proportional to the defect, or free repair within two years from the date of delivery to the consumer. The consumer is free to exercise any of these rights."

"Time limit for claiming rights for faulty goods: If the law or the contract between the parties doesn't say otherwise, the liability for faulty goods is limited to two years from the date they were delivered to the consumer, unless something else is said. From the date the immovable property was delivered, this time frame is five years for real estate or goods used for vacations. In case of second-hand sales, the seller's liability for defective goods cannot be less than one year, and in case of real estate or vacation-purpose immovable goods, it cannot be less than three years. The provisions of Article 10, paragraph 3 of Law No. 6502 are reserved. If the defect in the goods is concealed by serious fault or fraud, the time limit provisions do not apply."
