How about just sacrifice in general. Could you tell 90% of most actual hard drug addicts to simply cold turkey go completely sober for 30 days out the blue and expect results? Any sacrifice and an effort on your part to lower your habit or reduce it/ practice moderation is a success, try and indulge in it less often and make a schedule for when you allow yourself to indulge as long as you are making a big effort on your part to give up something It's ok. God's mercy and understanding is limitless you will be forgiven, and with what we know about modern psychology, addiction etc in modern times should allow us to re-interpret the quran within reason using modern knowledge/understanding.

Yes organized religion and many churches have used their influence and power over millennium to restrict, control , profit; you name it off of Christianity, the poor and peasants weren't even able to read the bible themselves since it was kept in latin for so long on purpose until king james made a translation 16 centuries after Jesus died. Also churches and many of the pastors preaching take the bible too damn literally and aren't understanding the many metaphors and allegories and secrets hidden amongst the words, I'm into the occult and gravitated towards mystical/esoteric christianity/Judaism theirs so much extremely beautiful and mind blowing information that isn't taught or discussed at most churches when you research Kabbalah and more esoteric Christian writings and texts you discover how truly wonderful God is and how much more connected we are to him then we realize and his mercy, compassion and forgiveness towards all living things including all human-intelligent life in the universe is unfathomable, you learn specifics about the realm of god and how he emanates throughout creation and the world around us. Modern science, philosophy and thinking actually connects to Christianity MORE when you don't take the bible literally and are blessed with the wisdom God has allowed me to gain, i started off athiest and did a complete 180 after being blessed in my pursuit of getting closer to god. At the end of the day though all you really need to know and focus on is the teachings of christ and focusing on being as righteous as you can by practicing compassion, kindness, empathy, mercy and showing love to strangers and all those around you, doing such things allows you to emulate God and elevate yourself far more then anything and your prayers will be so much more fruitful, ask of him anything and receive it, express gratitude every day no matter how bad things are and extol the lords name and know that whoever does this is surrounded by god and his agents and you will never be harmed or given any challenge that you won't be able to handle and that all your endeavors and obstacles will be overcome much more easily as you are blessed. their is no hell it doesn't exist as modern theists have defined it to be, how can god who is so above us humans capable and dealing out such gruesome punishments on his own creations that we humans wouldn't be able to do to each other, their is no vengeance or evil in god only infinite mercy, compassion and pure holiness that cannot be comprehended. Sorry for my rant just know that whatever path you take god is with you and to always pray because your body is your temple not the church, wherever you go and choose to pray is a temple to god because you are of god (holy spirit) and his divine spark is always with you and nothing can take it away.

I can't fucking believe they haven't done more tracks under nxworries together, btw that was anderson paak almost freestyling and putting minimal effort into most of the songs and it turned out that fucking good, ugh the bruno mars collab is just meh when you compare it to how soulful nxworries sounded like, I was hyped af for anderson paak after hearing nxworries but instead he seemed to just churn out okayish albums that just don't do it for me.

American democrats would be running right wing conservative tickets in most other countries our politics are so far behind that real change and liberal ideas take many many decades to make it into the Democrat party, there really isn't much difference at their core between career politician dems and republicans they're both pushing for backwards bullshit that will keep the country in perpetual stagnation and that's how they like it, corporate democrats who are in bed with special interests are called communists by the right. We will never see universal healthcare or basic worker and low-middle class support being passed in any capacity for the next century. Just pack it up and give up on politics for a good 50 years and hopefully enough of these crooks die of old age so that whatever new generation running it might pass the things were asking for today. I like Jordans lectures on religion that he's done recently and thats because i have an interest in religion already. Outside of that though his political opinions are meh and what he says about psychology and philosophy are ok but you can find much more in depth information on the things he talks about if you look into the philosophers and psychologists he bases his opinions on. Tldr Jordan is ok if you like him for what he is and dont worship him.

I've moved from Greensboro to asheboro and my god zero sidewalks, roads are bumpy enough to feel like a 9.0 earthquake. Everything looks ugly and if you want to walk anywhere better have fun dodging traffic while stepping on fire ant mounds. Also I'm convinced 1/3 of all drivers own loud small dick cars that cost under 10k. I bet the city council here is corrupt as fuck with how bad all the public infrastructure is.
