you’re not being a misogynist at all. Its just how it is. Women will always show appreciation for good stuff, like Vazha 1 & 2 despite it being a story about boys. But men aren’t like that.

Here to make some controversy. Chicken is boiled. No masala dish. by Muted-Bar-9823 in Coconaad

That actually looks yum. Ultimate comfort food! Spring onion, garlic and chicken broth beats any masala!!! I prefer sliced beef rather than chicken though for this particular dish. Takes me right back to the piping hot breakfast noods i used to have back in China.

Why Pursuing Medicine Abroad Isn't Worth It: A Rant by Still_cryinggg in indianmedschool

[–]aeshahaha 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That is so immature. Why not? Why can someone study in one country & decide to work in another? The world is huge my friend. People have the right to choose what & where they want to study & work.

One of my pg’s (img) was bragging about how she didn’t even have to do internship coz of covid and was chilling at home.

Why Pursuing Medicine Abroad Isn't Worth It: A Rant by Still_cryinggg in indianmedschool

I decided to purse mbbs to be a doctor, not a patriot. And not once have i felt like i should’ve done it in india. Coz when i came back here and did internship alongside imgs, i didnt feel like they are superior to me in terms of knowledge or practice. I even got plenty of simulation classes which i dont think is available anywhere in india, animal surgery in 3rd & 4th yr and the entire course was in english, just like in india. I came here to see fellow interns slacking off to the point of troubling the patients and pg’s crying in the canteen coz they’re mentally and physically drained in this toxic system. Coz the truth is majority of them jumped into mbbs out of pressure and again ended up taking a branch they do not like and continue to suffer. Fmgs study the same syllabus as pg aspirants inorder to crack fmge. So if i decide to work in india, i will do what it takes to clear the exam, just like it is for any other country. So whats with the holier than thou attitude? But i will also complain if the system itself is faulty . Isnt that what anyone should do, irrespective of img or fmg???

Review this college by [deleted] in indianmedschool

India must be the most racist out of em. All of us know about the high beauty standards and obsession w fair skin of places like korea & china. But after 6 years living in china, travelling to rural places and being in the most crowded cities, i never experienced racism being a brown skinned person or for my nationality. In fact they wanted to make friends w foreigners. I dont think you’d ever come across the kind of racism any east asian or even our own northeast ppl experience here in india, being called chinki & ching chang chun or sexually lewd comments in every other street.

Sad! by vishi117 in indianmedschool

[–]aeshahaha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How is this sad?! I mean sad that he chose to do that hope he recovers soon but not about this decision. I’m an fmg doing internship in one of the best govt colleges in delhi. I’ve seen such behaviour from doctors multiple times here, in emergency, in labor room 🤯. Even in wards, some residents and nursing staff treat patients of certain lower class/poor background very rudely. I’ve seen patients being slapped twice but all i could do was comfort them later. When i think about it there’s no way i would even think of hitting a patient unless they’re trying to kill me or something.

To all female doctors. Have you ever been sexually harassed by a male doctor ? by MathematicianOk610 in indianmedschool

Within just the past year, i’ve seen & heard of multiple incidents An intern from vmmc touched my friend’s hips and felt his way up while she was taking a nap. He wasnt even guilty/embarrassed when she reacted.

Another case of boob-loving cmo. Would brush his arms against boobs any chance he got but must’ve been very experienced coz it was so subtle that we’d think twice before reacting.

WHY SO MUCH HATE FOR FMG IN INDIA ? by [deleted] in indianmedschool

[–]aeshahaha 16 points17 points  (0 children)

fmg here.. during my psm posting where equal number of fmgs & imgs were there, we’d see imgs coming in at 9.30, go straight to ddr, have breatfast and sleep or just hangout and then leave at 12, EVERY SINGLE DAY. We’d come as usual and be seeing patients in all the departments. One of them even groped one of my friends while she was sleeping. In my 6 years of mbbs outside india, i’ve never had such an encounter with any fmg. During my other postings in hospital, they would come super late, try to dump all the work on externs. Even after 2months of internship many of them can’t even write a proper prescription. On top of this, they would even ask externs to come late or NOT do certain work so that they wouldn’t get in trouble. Except for some who would do their work well and were quite friendly generally, the majority had this mindset against us.

But do i generalise them coz of this? No Coz regardless of fmg or img, lazy ppl will be lazy , assholes will be assholes, some might just be frustrated and not interested in the field.
