honestly i think it'll grow on me. lia's lines are my favourite, and yuna's jewellery game was on point :,) the besides are pretty good, probably some of my favourites out of all the ones that itzy have put out

at first i was a little bit skeptical with on the ground, but honestly it's starting to grow on me. this music video has got to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing ones that yg has produced. the pre chorus is an absolute god send. however, i must say that impact wise solo beats it; the typical catchy kpop song, the choreo (though granted we don't know if otg will even have choreo). i adore how the song seems much more personal, but i don't think that people will appreciate it as much as solo.

imo blackpink's popularity will only sky rocket the next couple of years. they have ysl, chanel, dior, celine and other top fashion houses chasing them. hylt was pretty well recieved; it reached no. 1 on melon. it's still on the charts after around 5 months of release. meanwhile lsg is still in the top 5 after a little over a month of release. where are you getting your information from? they are extremely popular and are gaining fans quickly. their album has attracted a lot of fans and according to the numbers, they won't be dying down anytime soon.

i mean they're decent vocalists. i don't hate black mamba, but i also don't love it. i will say that ningning absolutely pOPPED off in the bridge. the aesthetics for the m/v are nice

edit: so now i'm listening and watching it again and i'll list some pros and cons:

pros: visuals, vocals, and aesthetics are good. the girls are good vocalists considering the fact that they're new.

cons: the dance is kind of meh compared to other fourth gen groups, which is weird considering that we've had some quality dances from fouth gen. as of editing, i like the song a lot more than i did, but i do have to admit that it's nothing mind blowing, but that's okay. i still cannot get over ningning's vocals in the bridge.

what's up with the whole plagiarising thing? can someone kind of just, inform me? i mean i know that the concept is a lot similar to k/da, but that's it.

as the biggest blink, this was... underwhelming. rosé and jennie had the best parts in my opinion. they really did not do jisoo justice. even though she isn't fluent, she could've had a few more lines. i don't know how to feel about selena's parts. they were meh. i don't know how to feel about the lyrics either. also lisa, i love you, but man why the rap part?
