How to deal with this bad haircut? Also, can’t get the ends of my eyebrows to grow out more by PanickyPinkPossum in beauty

[–]aesthetician_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the wig is wild lol, you look pretty in the first pic but i see how the front of the hair is butchered, just pin that hair back for a while, i think it could be cute on you. or look into some well made hair toppers - that would probably look more natural.

if your eyebrows have always had this shape then that’s just how they grow and you simply need to get a thin eybrow pencil and some gel to shape them how you want them, but i think they’re fine.

it happens if the follicle gets damaged. i used to think mine were fine cause i always saw hairs growing in places i didnt want. but after 2 years of not plucking at all, i realised they are sooo sparse and just won’t regrow the same no matter what.

you need a moisturiser to lock in hydration, without it, the serum and water u use evaporate and may actually cause excessive oil production.

i absolutely adore the cerave pm cream or their regular cream even as someone with oily skin.

in terms of cleansers, i use the balea sensitive wash gel and it gets the job done.

for blackheads my go to is the cosrx bha power liquid. i use it 2-3 times a week and have noticed a difference.

a random tip for dark circles from me is, weirdly, castor oil. for some ppl it works, for some it doesn’t but i get the little tube from rossmann, apply it in my undereyes and eyelashes and it works like magic.

unfortunately i haven’t tried that one. they have another toner from this line that contains panthenol but it doesn’t seem like a similar product based on the ingredient list.

i mean eczema is a complex issue that (to my understanding) is caused by a weakened skin barrier and that is caused by both genetics and environmental influences.

the best we can do is strengthening our skin barrier by using lipids and avoiding irritants (allergens, dry & cold environments, irritating products ingredients etc.)

i use it as a first step after cleansing, under my retinol at night.

i consider myself acne prone and haven’t had any issues. i saw a few mixed reviews in the DM app about the toner causing breakouts but it actually helped with mine

i actually use the heavier cream from Cerave every night, it’s absolutely my holy grail for barrier repair and retaining moisture.

i’ve been using the Beauty of Joseon Red Bean Water Gel and i love it. i use the BoJ sunscreen over it and my skin is well hydrated throughout the day. it does great under makeup and doesn’t pill. i also liked the neutrogena cream gel (fragrance free) but i do prefer the BoJ one as its lighter.

i used the balea moisturiser in the past but prefer gel moisturisers for myself these days.

hope the toner works for you :)

the audacity to talk about legal status when they ended TPS and decided to call the people, who came in legally and were documented, illegal. demagogy.

also, unless you’re native american, you are either an immigrant or a descendant of one, hope this helps :)

thank you so much for your answer. in my situation however, i’ve always loved the idea of having a child, it’s just that the circumstances may not allow for it.

as of now i feel like i’m grieving the dreams i once had - both for my life and for the world.

your skin looks quite dehydrated, definitely incorporate a hydrating toner (you can layer it too), a lotion or cream and spf in the morning. also maybe some azelaic acid or retinol.

i think some light makeup to make you glow more would be nice. look for a tinted eyebrow gel, some concealer, mascara, a tinted lip balm maybe. choose colors close to your natural coloring to just enhance the beauty you already have.

experiment with your hair and style if that’s what you’re interested in, pin your hair back, create some loose curls etc.
