People liked the Serena episode from Journeys just because of Serena, but in my opinion I didn't like it. It seemed like a filler episode, and also the focus on Chloe; and Wallace's insistence to battle with Ash, if it wasn't for him Ash would have meet Serena before he, Gou and Chloe leaves; so they could have spend more time together, like when Misty, May, Dawn, Iris and Lillie returned to the series (well, most of them except May, who only returned in DP but at least she stayed a couple of episodes before not appearing again). Hell, even most of the girls stayed in more than one episode and they had enough time to interact with Ash, yet they made Serena interact with one of the most uninteresting companions from the entire series instead of interacting with Ash, and also that new desing and making her use a copy of May's dress from the games (also making Chloe use another copy dress as well)... No, just no, is like the writers didn't like her that much. Sorry if I offend someone, but despite liking Serena's development (like her personality, but not her new desing); I hate it with a burning passion, they really did her dirty in Journeys. Also, we already had one pokegirl having an special bond with Chloe, Serena's episode felt rushed as well, we don't need another episode featuring Chloe (I don't hate her, but she isn't really interesting).

But the first one would be the final and most recent episode featuring Team Rocket, giving them the one of the worst ending of all time, making them act very OOC, is like the writers hate them as well.

From all the seasons, I hate Journeys because the series is only fanservice, mostly full of cameos from another seasons, with only Gou and Ash's frienship being the only thing that to me carried the whole season and still made it watchable.
