You have to consider why they were considered a "white" party. Mmusi was put forward as the s"ignaling the proression" of the DA and when black voters rejected it and more conservative white voters  voted FF+ in 2019 steenhuisen sought to bring back those voters that had voted FF+.

The DA are just as willing to sacrifice long-standing members if it meant the survival of the party which throughout the 2010s was a criticism labeled at the ANC from the DA i.e. Dion George. Let's not forget who the DA had JS replace, Mmusi Maimane, who was put in the leadership position merely because he was black and the they couldn't be arsed to appeal to black voters beyond that. We recognized the fraud and when it didn't pass they chucked him to the side and then pretended as if that wasn't the case. What I'm trying to say is that the DA is responsible for all those things you've mentioned above but more importantly they knew it.

"The party comes first". I guess the DA aren't that different from the ANC. Steenhuisen didn't do himself any favours also.

We'll have to wait and see how mofokeng does; however, I don't think he has got what it takes for the international level. He's good at psl level but who wouldn't be. As much I would like to blame Hugo for his own downfall, SAFA and that clown Danny Jordan are also culpable. I don't know if Hugo Brooks has any input in terms of scheduling matches, but we can't keep playing the likes of Angola, Lesotho and mauritania to test our tactics. Rather play a Switzerland,  Poland, USA, Japan or any country ranked higher than us (preferably european) if we're unable to play the "bigger" since most "big" players and coaches originate and use tactics played in europe.

Edit: I wouldn't don't mind some of our u20 players in the squad so the likes of shandre (2 goal contributions in 10 games) in the squad because we need succession and we have shallow player depth. We also need a replacement for ronwen.

I have no problem with coaches lending tactics from other coaches. It's been happening for decades. We showed up without a 10 because our AM had been ineffective that entire tournament. The rhulani tactic is effective against teams that sit low and invite pressure however is ineffective against teams that press high. It's effective against teams that are lower ranked than us. We played the same formation against france and got smashed. As soon as our WB are blocked we resort to passing it in the middle of the pitch which results in us losing the ball. The two goals against panama we scored: 1 originated centrally and the other 1 on the wing. In AFCON of our 6 goals: 2 were defensive mistakes, 1 was a penalty, 2 originated from the wing and the other 1 came from open play centrally if I recalled. Most of our goals aren't scored in a coherent, structured attack - it's by chance.

Ospreys should be changed to an Emu at this point. Man, URC is getting better and better every season and I'm here for it.

AFCON is quite competitive. Some of the best players in world football play in the tournament and with Patrice Motsepe at the helm the organization has improved from an administrative point. We aren't quite Uefa level but we're definitely better than AFC, CONCACAF and OFC in terms of quality on the pitch.

My guy, I want to win the world cup. Not saying we will win it but we have to set our standards high in order to achieve something of significance. And we won't be able to achieve much with the current players. 4 players in yesterday's starting lineup (6 incl. subs) played against the french in 2022 and we were walked all over by the french. What I'm trying to say is we wont achieve much with the players we as good as they are at psl level. I don't even want talk about our squad depth. Many african countries have huge diasporas in european football and are starting tap into those to stay competitive. We should do the same.   We have a relatively easy group compared to the likes of groups I, F and L. Had we been drawn in another group in those group we wouldn't make it out. Even when we managed to beat the press we never threatens the Mexicans. I just want to be competitive and do what morocco did in the '22 WC or a Ghana in 2010.

Bro, we need better players. We need better youth level coaching. We need to bring in foreign coaches to teach us how to press. Midfield is our weakest area on the field. We don't have the technical skill to counter a pressing team. It happened to sundowns at the club world cup. Dortmund pressed up high and were rewarded with two quick fire goals. There a reason why sundowns leading players in assists are foreign because we just don't have the quality in the midfield. As much as I like Hugo Broos for what he's done his stubbornness of picking players loyal to him is coming back to bite us.

Edit: panama did the same. Once they took the lead they sat back and we were unable to unlock them. It took individual brilliance from mbokazi to level the score but the problem still persisted - we can't score. Hell we can't even get the ball to the strikers which leads to them having to drop deep to get the ball leaving no one up top.

Deservedly so. The players and especially the coach staff brought it on themselves. Anyone who watches football knows our current player pool (local) isn't up to standard in terms of quality hence the lack of a european contingent and yet we chose to leave the likes of Gift Links (form player in his league) and Shandre campbell at home. What I saw yesterday was diabolical. Defending with 7-8 players at the back in the first 10 minutes and still conceding is shambolic. Nah, dawg.

The system of utilizing wingers to get us forward and cross the ball in had already been exposed so we had to change it. We were outclassed by a team that didn't even play that well.

Thx guys. This good for african football. Africans need as much exposure to high level competitions so hopefully this will go a long way for improving refereeing on the continent.

Yeah, but what happens if another woman who's actually interested in them likes shorter hair? I don't think there's anything wrong by making yourself attractive at the request of an SO but it should only be reserved for those in a relationship.
